Glad to see you're back. Been working out hardcore for 9 months. Progress is slow but I'm so proud of myself for being able to follow men's workouts without breaks and doing full push ups. I live in a baltic state (potencial for invasion) so maybe being in shape will help...

I’ve been feeling like my eye make up looks have been looking muddy and crappy lately. I decided I needed a refresher after not looking at a tutorial in a few years and this one gave me the best eye shadow look I’ve ever had in my life last night. 😭

I hope this doesn’t come across as arrogant but I don’t consider myself a beginner in makeup anymore yet I still learn an enjoy your content.

I just love your slow instructions & how your eye is close that I can actually see good. And your soft voice is great! Some are so loud that I get a headache. And I have the same thing on my eyelids. Oooh, a cut crease❣️ Since I have hooded eyes, I make my cut crease on top of the hood of my eyelid. Otherwise, it will get smeared throughout the day. I paint a line of concealer, then look up. The concealer typically smears in a straight line on top of my hood. That’s where I paint my line up to. I’m not quite sure if this technique will work on deep set or regular (un-hooded?) eyes? It might paint the orbital bone? I digress! Thank you for the lovely tutorial. Be kind to yourself and others? We’re all doing the best that we can❣️❤️🌹

Glad to see a new video from you 💜 I love you eyeshadow videos because you’re the only KZread person I’ve found whose eyelid skin acts like mine (I have EDS too). My skin has been totally freaking out lately; I think I’ve developed rosacea. So I’m not able to practice any makeup right now, but it’s still great to watch. Take care!

Thank you lovely, how are you? Oh the joys of having EDS some days I freak out about my skin, I get such weird reactions, ugh fun! I'm sorry to hear you are struggling with rosacea, I hope something that can done to help you. I knew someone who had rosacea due to a food intolerance, it would come and go for her, sometimes I can't eat gluten and sometimes I can, sometimes I break out in a rash around my dogs and sometimes I don't, it's crazy what EDS does! I hope you get some relief soon, be kind to yourself my friend! 💕

@@TheMakeupChair it is really wild figuring out the triggers. So far it’s seems to be triggered by running our humidifier (I suspect mold), the iron supplement I was taking, and gluten. But when reactions only happen some of the time, it’s so confusing! But I think I’m getting it under control.

Hi there first I want to say thank you so much for your vids! I discovered your content about a month ago while looking for beginner eye makeup vids and since then I really feel you’ve helped me learn ALOT. (Especially how to mix and match colors) I was wondering if you could do some videos on things like the “water-color” makeup trend? Or maybe some brighter colors like hot pink? It’s funny because when KZread tutorials first started no one was making a cut crease look using concealer there were other techniques and I actually still use them but the concealer makes it way more crisp than any other way ❤

Will definitely try this. Thank you! I'm not exactly sure what you meant by high vs. low placement of the brush though, I think because the entire video is zoomed in so close. For something like that I feel like I need to see your whole arm and hand in relation to your face to understand what you mean. But maybe I'll "get it" when I try myself. 🤷‍♀️

I have tried all your tips from the ‘Eyeshadow for beginners’ list however my eyelids end up looking pink toned even after using some browns and nudes. Please note I am a warm Indian medium skin and I tried to use warm eyeshadow palette. Thank you 😊

I don’t think this placement works on extremely hooded eyes. I don’t really have a crease. I have next to no mobile lid but have quite a bit of lid between my eyebrows and the bottom of the hood. Also the shades you used look way too dark for my older more mature eyes. Will your please do a look that addresses this issue? Thank you.

Hey there Karen So the first eyeshadow can still work for hooded eyes, it will frame your eye shape especially as you said you have extra space there, it will add some soft shaping pushing the hood back. On the subject of a crease, you have a crease I promise you, but keep your eyes open and sweep across just above the lid that's fake a crease. Now I didn't say in this video but I usually say that you want to adjust the shadows depending on your skin tone, so the first shadows should be a least one shade darker, the second one shade darker then the first and the third which is the lightest shade either match your skin or go one shade lighter, so that's all you need to do for your mature eyes if you feel it's too dark for you. I think you could totally pull off a bit more depth but it's totally up to you and what you feel comfortable with.
