By now, you may have already googled to find out what weight mace you should first start working with and have likely found suggestions ranging from about 10-15lbs on average.
Personally, I suggest starting (and growing) with a 10lb mace because that is the weight that will teach you all the moves and help you to progress your overall mace practice even faster.
But that doesn't solve the problem for WHERE, or more specifically, which company you should purchase yours from? After all there are a number of options out there and vary from country to country.
Regardless of where you are located, this video will tell you what you should consider when purchasing your 10lb mace, especially as it pertains to the size (dimensions) and practical feel of various 10lb maces that I've obtained through the years.
