It isn't over romanticising. It's creating your own beautiful spaces, and you do it wonderfully. Blessings.
I agree with you that in the midst of an insane world, it's good to focus on the lovely, good things in God's creation. You inspire me to do so more and more, and to get my mind off of all the bad news! Thank you, Lea!

It's not easy, but there is still beauty to behold ❤
The Bible is full of agricultural metaphors and for good reason, quiet gardening enables us to learn the heart of god
A friend of mine has a Aloe Vera plants all throughout her house to help clear the air from chemicals etc and to combat WiFi signals amongst other things, as they sleep. She said the whole family sleeps a lot better. I am slowly incorporating this to my home as well as turning the internet off at night and have noticed a wonderful difference especially to a better night's sleep! Our heavenly Father has thought of everything for us. Thank you for another beautiful video. ❤❤❤
So beautifully said! I feel the most grounded when I’m working in my garden, and praising the Lord for the beauty of His provision. We must focus on the positive.

I like to think creating beauty around our homes, in the way we dress, live our lives, speak our truth….is being a visual Artist…a gift God has given us..to live more abundantly ❤️
Nothing wrong with singing a little tune as the ship goes down..... LOVE that!!!!! Thank you for all you do.... brings a little calm and beauty to this crazy world!!!!
Where the Holy Spirit dwells there is life . Everything blooms . There is peace and everthing smells fresh. We need channels like this.❤
This world around us is truly maddening! The more I learn, the more aware I become of just how deceptive it all is. This world is headed in a direction that won’t be stopped til our Lord says. We can and should pray, of course, then take a step back and focus on what is most important… our relation with Him, our families, our pets, neighbors, to make a conscious effort to slow down and enjoy whatever time we have left. For me, enjoying and beautifying what’s around me helps me to stay grounded when all the world is going crazy. It’s a way to be in but not of this world.

Thank you Lea, You have given us all a place of connection with your channel. It seems a reward and affirmation for many of us. Beauty and eternity become family friends. I've always been lyrical and aesthetic with my domestic duties and I feel the genuine pleasure of the Lord upon me. We are fit company for The King after all - Praise to Yeshua . My humanity sings in this innocent place and my womanhood is understood and affirmed there also. However, my spirit knows the Time and Season we are in and I have serious duties there. I engage in these duties from my place of sanctuary. How good it is to read all these comments and know how many friends we have . Love from New Zealand
Dear Friend, you keep doing exactly what you are doing. You got this :) Gardening and having a cottage garden is a form of meditation if you will for many of us. A way to protect our spirits from the outside negativity. A peaceful place for our souls. Peace Thank you again, for sitting with us while some of us sip tea also and watch your post. Excellence!

I hope tea time was lovely ❤
When we bought our home 20 years ago I decided I wanted a friendship garden. I asked each of my close friends, family members and neighbors for one of their favorite plants in their garden. I marked each plant with their name and 20 years later it is now a beautiful cottage garden with a beautiful variety and I think of each that contributed to it as I work in my gardens to escape the chaos in our world. In the fall when I cut back my gardens, I offer plants to any that would like to add them to their gardens. I care for my elderly mom with Alzheimer’s seven days a week and gardening is my go to for prayer, peace and calmness to give me strength to continue to care for my mom. Thank you for your inspiration ❤. Summer, heat and humidity are my least favorite but “to everything there is a season” and I’m so looking forward to a beautiful cool fall🍁🍁
It calms my mind and spirit to be in my small garden. Gods presence is all around me in nature, His creations. Yes, simplify in a world that has lost its way. Pray for what we can not control, hope for the best and be grateful for small things.

So lovely
I think a if we can make a home a peaceful ,pretty place and we love the Lord our God with all our hearts ,, it can bless those who enter,,, after all the Lord God put us in a garden in the beginning to tend,, it was His idea in the beginning ❤️
Lea, I'm really looking forward to the "You're not perfect" podcast. I have enjoyed every one of your podcasts immensely. I hope you continue to film more.
Blessings Lea! Love the sign! What a lovely and inviting addition to your mountain!! Father God made us overseers of His creation. Thank you for sharing with us what He has put on your heart! I have little to no shade and a basement apartment in a suburb but over the last 3 years I have been learning to container garden and I'm loving it! I call my garden my garden of grace because I do what I can for the plants to be successful but it's God's grace that anything grows. I have 2 containers with potatoes and whenever I plant those I think of you because of your success in finally growing them. Thank you for the inspiration in these videos! I just love them! Love you dear sister in Christ! Blessings to you and your beloved!❤
I love to put seeds down and watch them grow. It is something hard to put into words. It's peaceful for me to watch Yah's creation just do what He designed it to do. It puts a smile on my face a comfort that only He can provide.

Lea, I enjoy your channel so much! I am always inspired when I visit. I love that you "romanticize" the ordinary, every day, stuff! I am learning to do this, as well, although it isn't easy for me. Thank you so much for being a bright, shining light in a dreary, stormy world. And please, keep romanticizing! Grace & Peace, Pam
I adore you so much, Sister! Your sweet videos lovingly calm the soul and inspire the simplicity of what Yahuah has called us to. To Live a simple life, and walk in faith and obiedence to Yahusha and his Instruction of Torah. Thank you.

I live 127 year old, home hostas ,choclate mint were some,of my first plantings ive added many to my cottage core garden, takes me back to my grandmothers house,Bloom where youre Planted!
This was JUST what I was looking for! I randomly felt inspired last week to do something with our shady front yard sitting area but I was feeling overwhelmed with what plants to choose. Then I watched this video and I feel SO refreshed and excited to plan out this space. Thanks, friend!
I plan on having a small veggie and herb garden next summer once our baby is a year old.💗 Thanks for another great inspirational video!
Hey from the caribbean. I agree with you if we was to connect with nature and romantize every thing. Make everything beautiful and see beauty in everything. There will be less mental health and sickness. We would live a more wholesome life. I envy you. This kind of lifestyle is not available to everyone. This channel is very healing. Even your voice and the way you put everything together. Be blessed. The world needs more positive influencers where there is no toxic behaviours.
I love ferns! We have one fern that was dying when we bought it and now it is so huge in our home. I like the ivy you have. I don't know names of the majority of my plants and love that you can just say a bunch of names like that. I agree that it is good to be thankful for things and finding beauty in the little simple things. I like the Welcome to the Mountain sign you put up.

Love this and how you are beautifying your own little slice of heaven. I also struggle with the things of the world, contentment where I live in the inner city (what I consider Sodom) and trusting Gods plan in all of this. But I just got home from buying two raspberry plants from a nice lady who also gifted me with mint and arugula. It is life-giving to do what we can with what we have. You’ve encouraged me to keep going and bring heaven to my little patch here. Thank you

Amen sister I’m going to sing a little tune and plant me a cottage garden as well!! ❤️ I love your videos and your pure, simple lifestyle!!
Thankyou Lea, you inspire me greatly to focus on the beautiful things while the world is having a hiccup. ❤
I love your idea of 'over creating' the aesthetics of your home. i find it so comforting and i get ideas of incorporating some of it into my own home and my life, in general. It is such a stress and anxiety reliever. With no medication needed. 🙂 thank you and just know that you are very special and gifted to do this for us.
This is my second year planting and harvesting herbs! I never realized how fulfilling it is. Now I am learning how to make things like lotions, lip balms, etc. with them. And it amazes me how using fresh herbs for cooking can majorly improve each and every dish!

And a Joyful sabbath to you
I just came across your channel and this video strikes a chord in me... My boys had asked me when they were little why I Iove gardening/plants so much...so I let them grow some plants. The process led them to discover the joy of our food and true raw beauty. Nature is core to the soul...for balance. 🌱💛 I thank my mom for giving me that special gift too... Green beans, poppies, and marigolds are forever my favorites.

I love chocolate mint and put the leaves in my iced, raspberry tea. My Hosta's are in bloom here in Vermont. I have a small, raised garden in my apartment complex, which is my happy place. I had massive garden's in the past, but can no longer care for something that size, so this is a happy compromise. I love your channel and find it a peaceful, gentle place with other believer's to help drown out the sometimes overwhelming negativity in the world.
I cannot wait till 7am! So excited.
This was so helpful with the shade area we have, we can grow nothing there. Thank you. You reminded me of the Titanic.... playing music while they were sinking.
Me too!!❤
I love many of the same plants you do, ferns, ivy, corral bells…my little yard, also in NJ is heavily shaded, but the ground is very rocky and difficult to plant in. You inspire me with your use of pots and various containers ☺️🌿🪴Stay cool, sister, and thanks for sharing!

Hi Lea. Thank you for a lovely video. I am inspired to go and potter around in my garden. I love gardening, but have been a bit low on energy lately, but still go for my morning walks and feel the leaves and flowers as I take my fur babies with me. I love sitting outside in the sun and listen to the birds and bees in the afternoons.
Would love to see a video on the herbs you use and grow for tea purposes. For all of us tea lovers!
To those that, don’t know Him, it’s hard to understand the beauty and the hope that we have in our souls. It should naturally come out and materialize in our lives.❤

My NC yard is also very shady. I have a lot of the same plants that you do and they do really well here too. One new thing I tried this year is lemon balm. It's going great so far--just trying to decide what to do with it!
Remember we always have the greatest news eternally! Jesus Christ glorious resurrection and all he has for us!!!
I think we take the little things for granted and we need to stop doing that because life is made up of little things. These channels promoting love of the small things are the healthiest things on the internet right now. My mental health really suffers when I don't stop and appreciate the little things. It's something I've had to regularly stop and be deliberate about in my life and i love watching people do it so artistically on the internet.

How do you use your bee balm?
I live in an apartment so i want to have an inside garden. I don't get direct sun. Do you think these plants would do good inside? I also dont have a balcony
What state do you live in
It is not a romanticizing of the lifestyle. It is simply displaying the life you have chosen to live, and you tell people why. Is it romanticizing to live better, and share your story? I think not.
Over romanticizing🙄. Please just keep doing what you are doing. I enjoy your videos.
