Beginner's Guide to CNC Router Vcarve Sign Making Part 1

This is a beginners guide to Vcarve sign making. This video is part one of two, and covers downloading a design from a website, importing the design into Vectric Vcarve, preparing the vectors for toolpath generation, and finally creating toolpaths and saving them.
Part two will cover the application of Oramask, carving on the CNC, sealing, and painting.

    Jim, this is exactly what I was looking for! I carved this a few months ago and had some of the same issues you had because of the size of wood I had on hand and how detailed the design is. Great joband thank you so much for taking your time to do this for me!

    Very helpful video, thanks. Went to the site but didn’t see any free files. Maybe because I’m on a tablet not a laptop?

    If you go to their page, and then scroll down a little, there are a bunch of logos that you can click on like different pay plans and stuff. When you are at that location, then there is an arrow on the left and right of the page for scrolling. If you scroll to the right a couple pages, you should hit a "monthly free file" . I just checked and they still have the same file I used in the video.
