Personally, I use my powder thrower to get close and then trickle up to exact each time. Then I trickle up on a beam scale and set it on a digital scale to verify. I also use two loading blocks to help assure against double charges. And after charging all cases I look down the necks of them with a bright light as a last safety check before seating bullets. I like having three or more safety checks incorporated into my reloading process. So when I weight each charge to exact on a beam scale it is my first safety check. And when I double check it on a digital scale it is my second safety check. And alas when I look them all over at the end it is my third safety check to help assure that I do not over or under charge any of the cases. "Better safe than sorry" somebody always said. And by using two loading blocks that is a safety step as well. So not only do I get three safety checks to assure it is done right but I also get three memories of having done it right to keep from wanting to pull bullets later on over wondering if I messed up or not. Again taking the same step over in different ways not only assures me that I did it right but that I did it indeed. This is a very good reason not to be in a hurry when reloading. Safety insured is safety secured. And when I shot, my gun/those around/and my stead ARE safe indeed.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23) Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. (James 4:8) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)

Any time the two disagree it is either one of the poises on the beam scale got moved, or the digital drifted (of which a quick tearing fixes that). I also use two loading blocks to help assure against double charges. And after charging all cases I look down the necks of them with a bright light as a last safety check before seating bullets.
