Beginner pool exercises for strength, aquatic exercise

Moving in the water 💧
Water exercises can be so helpful if your joints are feeling extra sensitive or you’re looking to build some confidence for land movements 🙌🏼
Water offloads some bodyweight so your joints are able to move more freely ☝🏽
I love using combination movements so you can work both upper body and lower body at the same time. And you know, variety is one of the most important aspects as well‼️
Moving sideways and backwards are great ways to take advantage of the water and improve joint mobility ↔️⬇️
It is crucial to continue to add land based movements into your routine as you’re able to tolerate them because well, we live on land 🙌🏼
Even just mixing in simple movements in your house can be one way to start bringing in land based movements 😇
For example, sideways and/or backwards walking down the hallway, standing up a few extra times from a chair, or doing some heel raises with some knee bends are all simple examples that can go a long way ✅
Water exercises can be fabulous but I want you to ask yourself- how are you also incorporating land based exercise ☝🏽
If you need ideas for land based movements so you can regain the ability to walk longer, climb stairs, squat down and more- the Arthritis Adventure Blueprint is here for you 👋🏼
You’ll not only gain access to follow along workouts that start seated and move into to standing with bands, weights and more…
But you’ll also get tips and tricks that will help you unlock pain relief that you likely haven’t heard before 👀
Head to arthritisadventure.com to check it out ✅
Hundreds of people inside this program have gone from high levels of pain, not feeling confident in movement, and feeling like they have tried everything to feeling strong, confident, and in way less pain than they truly ever imagined ❤️❤️
Now it’s your turn- you’re not alone in this journey anymore ✨
