Superb sir... nice initiative which required for current situation. The stock management approach is almost inline. Even I never been sold any stocks since I bought. Also the compulsory allocation 50percent in index investing that I am having more than 3 years. And follows the SnP 500 from NFO.

All are precise fact Sir.Am recalling my mistakes bduring 2008,2009.I should have got this expertise then😊

Absolutely Vijay .I for one just did what you said about 30 years back and lost almost every thing but was saved by just one stock which wiped out my looses.But from then on never ever ventured into buying individual stocks.stock market friends ,investors always talk about their gains but never about their losses which may be most of the times.

First you if plan to buy 100 shares, then immediately make your mind for 50 to buy and another 50 to wait. Once it's goes high & high no problem, then wait for the recreation and put the balance 50 that this go high. Or else If after 50 goes down wait until it touches bottom.

Thanks for explaining clearly. Can you please make a video on how to conver MF and shares to NRI account while being abroad and how to convert it back after settling in India. With zerodha it is offline process and with Kuvera they used to say to close all existing and start new NRI account where we will loose old Investments. Will this conversion works in same way for OCI card holders also as they will renounce Indian citizenship? Thank you for your other explanations too.

1.Index funds in india deliver around 12 percent CAGR in the past 20 yrs Is this a good return? 2.In countries like Japan index merely gain 4 percent CAGR in the past 20 yrs How to find a right index fund as returns greatly varies from developed country to developing country? How to invest in periods like STAGFLATION?

1. If you ask me 12% return is good enough - but then its personal preference. It is definitely better than holding on to cash. 2. Developing country in general grows more and faster than a developed country and so the stock market gains. But it will be lot more volatile than in a developed country. We cannot totally go by what happened in the last 20 years. But we can definitely use it as a guide. Between 2000 and 2008, emerging market including India was doing great. After 2009, US market is doing lot better. Stock market growth comes in spurts. No one can predict when the next spurt happens. So it is always better to diversify across regions and also to stay invested rather than worried about stagflation. When we get into "What if" analysis, the possibilities are endless. I like to keep things simple.🙂

I have done most of the mistakes that I have listed here. 🤣 One thing that I have not done till date is "Trading". Some other unforgettable mistake that I have done is: 1. Using market order instead of limit order when buying stocks 2. Investing in Indian small caps 3. Buying a stock because it is way less than 52 week peak value (luckily for me, it was during financial crisis time, so all my bets worked out OK as the rising tide lifted all the stocks. But if I have to do it again, I will be more wiser on that)

Hi , Which is better, Index fund or ETF Bees?. Investing in index fund seems to be complicated but etfs are very easy to buy and sell. Is any Divident given in index etfs or only appreciation by capital gains. Hope you have the time and patience to clarify my doubts.
