I have some snap setter tools in that same box that I got in probably 1965 or so. My tools aren't brass though. I guess I started doing leatherwork in Cub Scouts in the mid '50s. Thanks for reminding me that I'm older than dirt. (73) Goes to show, start early. It's a lifetime fun hobby.

Good video Roger. I have a club show coming up in late March and these might be a good, quick sell. As far as leather goes if you have a Peddler's Mall nearby often times you can find a booth where someone is selling leather of all kinds at a very good price. One good thing about it too is that you can get contact information and maybe get some of the scraps they can't use but would be perfect for small projects like the keychains.

I have found that the easiest way to turn objects is to use the "." or "," keys to rotate 90 degrees. More accurate then using the rotate tool on the screen.

Hey Roger ... I really appreciate your videos, particularly these beginner projects. You are really helping me learn to use my laser and your videos are easy to watch and easy to learn from. I will not buy from TEMU ... they are a Chinese company that has a monstrous advertising budget and they are selling at huge losses to under-cut U.S. businesses and put them out of business.

Same with a lot of items on Amazon. And, eBay. At least Etsy "tries" to limit that.

No, you don't "have to", but it is superior to others, such as Laser GRBL.
