Knewaccount Gaming some people don’t know that certain characters DP is minus on block and giving your opponent a chance to return the favour....
I was all over Persona 4 Arena when that game was popular. I was super hyped to get this game now that my Persona crew are back.... However, the mechanics in this game are COMPLETELY different and not at all what I was expecting. It's hard to play with my Persona characters bc every time I think about doing a specific move my muscle memory kicks in the P4A mechanics completely messing up my combos. This is gonna be tough trying to forget the moveset of my favorite fighting game just to get good at this one 😭

This was pretty good! As someone who spends all of their time in the lab, there's a lot of stuff I should put into practice here, lol.
Good vid, thanks. Just started playing online vs a few days ago. I've been in the BBCT Discord for a while. So point 6 of knowing when to use assists- from past experience of other games w/them- I'm guessing when trying start pressure or extend a combo. Nice numbered list for this.
Thank you for the video!! My friend introduced me to this game and I usually don't like 2D fighting games but BlazBlue felt so fun to play!! I'm gonna run Linne/Es as my team.
Very well done! Nice work!
This was pretty helpful for me. This is my first fighting game so I have only really done the story and trained with a few characters so far. Did 4 online matches, got absolutely destroyed in 3 of them but could have won the last one if I had realised that I had actually somehow countered their super. Felt a bit disheartened after that so I appreciate the advice of not letting it get to me. I'm maining Yang as she is the main reason I bought this in the first place, and alternate Yosuke, Ruby, and Hyde as my second Only thing is, as a fighting game newbie, I have no idea what a lot of the terminology is, such as 'dp' or '5a' and stuff like that
@taejoonkim5122
6 жыл бұрын
If u still haven't figured those terminologies by now, dp means dragon punch or Ryu's reversal in SF. Reversals are moves that grants u full invincibility on the start up, but usually leaves u extremely vulnerable if they block it. 5A merely refers to a position on the joystick, indicated by the number, and the button u press. In other words, just press A since 5 is a neutral position. I suggest checking up online for other common fighting game terminologies as they are used often
As a BB player I didn't think I'd need to watch tutorials and tips to improve because I know my characters by heart...hooow wrong I was, as soon as I stepped in that game I got surprised soo many times :O I avoid using my main on BB to avoid wrong habits if I switch back, but damn I need to work again on Noel and really make use of those mechanics. Thanks so much for your tips, I knew some because of BB background, but I didn't know about others because of this game's new mechanics. Cheers for that!

Some DP like Ragna’s Inferno Divider is unblockable when your opponent in air, another that has the same properties is Yu and Hyde.
Also something to add about the cross burst, I have seen people wait and react to the white flash of the cross burst, and call there back assist to counter it. Do not burst if your opponent has not called their assist in that combo.

I feel like these are great tips for a foundation. Though like Adachi said, I feel like if you're a character loyalist, those characters better have that magic ticket called "talent".I tried to slug it out with Naoto in P4A and Shadow Naoto in Ultimax. From day one I only found pro players using Mitsuru, Yu, Chie, etc. Kicking my butt over and over.I hope this game proves me wrong and Naoto actually ends up being good though. Though half the team I would have played upon buying this game is already not on the radar of being good (Noel), so I might not get the game anyway.
I didn't know Dp blows up chicken blocking, that's super useful to know
Good tips. Now if only my friends didn't only do clash or throw as their oki game, I wouldn't need to dp on wakeup all the time :x
What if you get the 1 out of 100 chance 0f getting lag through out the whole Match and lag on that one match
@AndrewStorm
6 жыл бұрын
To advise you that on the lag part... check if it's really laggy after both team intro (without both side of the players skipping it). ASW and P4A games usually have some sort of network stabilizer to stabilizes the network connections. If it's really laggy even you did that... means one of the parties has a very bad connection or using a lag switch (not sure if this one's true).
I genuinely did not know the color boxes near names indicate threat levels. And these past few days I've run up to every pink box player thinking it was something else. Welp, now that thats cleared up....time to keep running up to pink box players.
You recommend the game to switch? Im worried if dont have many people playing online
@MelaninGamer-xq4hq

ImFear I play switch and I would give the controls a good rating, they are easy to use and fun visuals for the game. If you learn the combos. Plus if you buy it online I think you can get all the Dlc characters for 5.00 (Yang and Blake) should be free they were free download for me.

WhoEmmanuel it is fun to play, But I guess everyone has their own style on what to play it on
So i have a question, about mashing buttons on wake up, isn't it, at least sometimes, check if the oki is real with your fastest normal?
XProGamerX is the most menacing name I have ever heard of ゴ ゴ
I need some advice on to get better. I'm an intermediate player. I just wish for a tutorial on how to use a training mode. Once I learn that, i could possibly get out of Silver I and onto gold
I'm here two years later struggling because everyone else knows and can abuse the meta. I can certainly do well against people of my skill level but fighting people who have been playing for two years (and just stomp you and don't even let you play the game cuz you can keep chaining stuff) and its been real hard for me. I mainly use Seth and Linne as a team, since they can assist each other really well. I just need to look to learn from more experienced people.

Amazingly look at this video and the beggining of it shows that he predicted 3 out of the 6 characters as pay DLC o.o that is some good prediction
Is it released in the UK?
Im going to assume #6 is meant mainly for tag2 and Umvc3 players.
I probably would cry if I don't see Hilda in the Dlc or Something
What annoying is the player always reject guard too often. It’s like they don’t like to be touched.
but I really want Litchi....😭 I'm sticking to my Blazblue secondary and tertiary (Noel and Makoto). Since Litchi isn't in. And I'll use Es, because I'm learning her in central fiction and bb tag.
If anyone plays on switch how can you block on it?
is there a delayed wake up in this game?
Anyone think that taokaka should be added back??
I literally cannot stop mashing my attacks otherwise i just lose the ability to do combos dont mash when get up is great advice tho
I'm about a Master III now and full honestly. This game is fun, exciting, and tactical. All the different combos are very versatile. But this game is shit for oh so many reasons. But we are still in Beta apparently. So still room for progress.
Is it kind of sad the most helpful thing in this vid is not the tips but moreso the Es gameplay and combos in the background since im trying to improve with her?
Gimme dat rollback
If you are making a video for beginners you should at least explain what your acronyms mean and maybe the inputs for them. What is a dp and how do I do one/stop from doing one? EDIT: Actually, after watching the full video I only understood a couple of points in it. I would say that this video basically didn't help me at all.

DP refers to universal reversal. In this game, you can perform reversal like Dragon Punch in Street Fighter or other fighting game with two buttons presses.
@Zezockary
6 жыл бұрын
Sean Marco Louis The only other fighting games I have played are Smash bros (melee through 4), Elsword (which isn't like this at all), and a little bit of Pokken tournament. So, if it is a reversal are you talking about when you hit R1 and X (ps4) and your teammate breaks their combo? I assumed he wasn't talking about that because he said people spammed it and you can't spam that.
@NoirLouisStream
6 жыл бұрын
Zezockary no, a real dragon punch. In this game, it’s performed by pressing A+D (Square and X). It has invincible startups and active frames. In case what you’re referring is Cross Burst, which is useful to escape from Long blockstring or combos.
@NoirLouisStream
6 жыл бұрын
Zezockary let’s hope you will learn more about terminology. In case if you already picked the game, try to run through Tactics mode to learn all things you need to play this game in efficient manner. Don’t worry, they will bring you a very good tutorial as I played it myself.
@Zezockary
6 жыл бұрын
Sean Marco Louis Oh that, my friends and I just call that the counter. I already did the basic tactics stuff I just didn't realize that is what they called that move. I was actually telling my friends yesterday about how that wasn't safe on block or miss XD I just didn't realize that was what he was talking about. Terminology is going to be a humongous learning curve indeed if I have to go back and learn street fighter while I am learning this =.= I hadn't even heard of a dragon punch before now.

idk I try not to use assist so i can use the bar to get out of combo .
@EdomGames1
6 жыл бұрын
Sora Satoshi so you want to use assists because it will build your resonance really fast. But the trick to doing it is using your assist when you’re not making any inputs. If you use a raw assist the game won’t use meter. It’s when you cancel moves the the assist meter gets used
@sorasatoshi7833
6 жыл бұрын
so if i just spam the assist without using inputting a combo, then I can keep the blue bar to max so that I can have save it for cross burst and build up the super meter ?

Dude knowing the DP is air unblockable lol. Mfcukas gonna get it next time I play. It's not bad with Es she has great AA but with Blake I have no idea how to stop people who jump over. Now with this it's gonna be bait with 5B and DP that those jumpins. Just the sheer fact they can block it but then get it broken via DP is game changer. People just abuse the double jump in a way that I can't deal as clearly as in DBFZ. I wish the game explained these hidden mechanics lol

Mashing buttons is already a habit to many noob players especially Injustice 2 as you're trying to input a move rather than being patient.
@NoirLouisStream
6 жыл бұрын
yeohthomas they will suffer since the read game in this one is pretty high. Jin’s overhead is deceptive as he crouched before the hit.
@Koganai96
6 жыл бұрын
Sean Marco Louis that’s why you need to read your opponents and also the timing of the input. When people lose, they take their defeats in a frustrated attitude.
@NoirLouisStream
6 жыл бұрын
yeohthomas if they just stop and think of what to do aside from spamming buttons, I’m sure they will improve. Plus Injustice 2 has some animation problems for their gameplay like how Atom act making it hard to read.
@Koganai96
6 жыл бұрын
True. I think Injustice 2 is by far the most easy fighting games of all because all combos is needed to input. It's not like Street Fighter 5 where you need to press HK and HP at the same time to active V-Trigger.
@NoirLouisStream
6 жыл бұрын
yeohthomas injustice is actually mediocre in quality. In fighting game, you want the Attack to be readable and sells the power of the Attack. Injustice 2 doesn’t have that as far as it goes

The reason why newbies button mash is because : 1 In story mode and 1 player mode, the AI ain't that smart. 2 Some of these newbies are used to battle RPGs. You have to button mash or you die. There is a time limit when you execute commands. Enemy hordes will gang up on you if you don't attack or defend fast enough.

Guides in this game are kinda worthless. Auto combos do just enough damage alone. I've played tons of Hydes that do nothing but the Triangle auto the whole match. The skill level is set very low. Which isn't surprising. But then you get hotheads that think they're all that.
