What are things which are needed to draw Anime and make it look beautiful
Most artists just show how to draw in anime style but very few point out the absolute need to do warmups for circle and line confidence, let alone repetition. This is exactly the advice I was looking for. Thank you.

Started drawing today and I'm using your series as a guide! One day, I cannot draw at all (not even stickmen), but I really want to draw manga one day, so I've started my journey. Going to keep on doing the conditioning exercises and consistently practice drawing faces until I've mastered each angle and can move onto part 2- anime eyes! Thank you so much for creating these videos. They're super easy to follow even for a complete amateur like me and I did manage to draw faces (though they're not nearly as good as yours).

Hello, Ive just realized I've been doing the very basics wrong for my entire life. I've asked around, apparently you're supposed to use your wrist and sometimes even your entire arm while drawing. I've just been using 2 fingers for my entire life, only moving my wrist when where I want to write/draw is out of range. it explains not only why my handwriting sucks and why I suck at drawing, but also why I dislike writing so much. this video somehow just made me realise what's been holding me back. thank you for moving your hand when you draw... I will return to this video after I relearn these absolute basics.

Thank you so much for putting this together! Been wanting to learn to draw my whole life and finally got the courage to start.
What Shidzilla sama forgets to mention (can't blame him. He's a pro, he probably forgot a thing or two about his newbie days) is how extremely slowly you need to start drawing these circles and lines. Once you nail the circle and continue nailing the circle your body goes "I have this hugeass stack of paper for drawing circles. Let's speed things up." and so it does. When I tried drawing on Shidzilla sama's speed first and drew turds. No, seriously, it looks like... I think bunny turds? When I slowed down extremely, I did get that nice circle, at which point my body sped up a little and I started drawing bunny turds again. I sped down just a bit until I got the circle, at which point my body sped up again. Lesson: start ridiculously slow.

Your teaching method is so good😭 i have been looking for tuts that teach Parallel and side views but this is the most understandable vid. The existence of this series is a bless to the universe. Arigato senpai!🥺

thank you very much :)
I can't believe you don't have atleast 100k subscribers yet! You are a very good teacher. I used to freehand a lot and now I want to learn structured character design. This video is the first one I saw and it's really informative. Thank you. Big help!
Very helpful, I have a hard time going through a lot of videos that over-explain stuff that I already don’t understand and you did this amazingly, I didn’t understand the process of how to make a head turn or that it would be better to draw faces to the side, thank you for the tutorial!❤😁
Thank you Tons, this really helps. I always see people who are talented at something and it could be literally anything and I realized that I'm not particularly above average in anything, I dont have any hobbies. And drawing these nearly impossible shapes and perfect circles after erasing and redrawing 100 times is actually pretty fun.

Thank you so much Shidzilla. When I used to search for 'how to draw anime', I always used to just get those speedart-type videos where they draw from beginning to end and I didn't understand how to copy or what they did but you helped me with it. Now, I know why my side and semi-side faces looked totally different from those guys. Thank you again and I'll definitely make sure to practice those difficult faces on all my friends' shirts XD

Can you do a whole video just for eyes...or better yet hands? Hands are honestly an "artist"'s worst enemy. I said "artists" as in anybody who draws. .... cuz just because they draw doesn't mean they are artists.

"If you see someone drawing without a sketch... they've done it a thousand times, or they're just that talented." me: well thanks
For everyone trying this the first time i really recommend using a pencil like in the video not a regular one. Its is sooo much easier to draw good lines, cycles etc.
Thank you!! I'm a beginner and I want to learn how to draw! This is really helpful 💗

I have watched so many videos on how to draw anime properly and this was the first video that really helped me. The way you explained every thing was very clear and I like how you draw the heads in different positions, it also helped me a lot. Thank you 😊

Just started drawing again after 4 years and tried finding good guides but I couldn't find anything useful for starting over. This is exactly what I was hoping to find
Thanks a lot for the great content! Since I was small, I always wanted to learn to draw anime. I didn’t have the resource to learn at that time, but luckily now I have the privilege to watch your video. I followed your tutorial, and I was amazed at what I could draw at the end. I can’t wait to make more progress by following your tutorials!
