Thanks a lot Jasmin. I tried some of these drills, watched some other of your videos, practiced as much as I can and improved a lot. Finally got runner-up place in a local competition. It's my first medal in pool, really small event but i feel happy.

As a beginner, it'd been nice for you to show how you struck the cue ball for the various different English you used.

Hi Jasmine this video is AWESOME! I’ve been following your channel and it’s been great it’s like having you as a personal tutor / coach I’ve been studying also the one where you explain playing with spin / english. I appreciate your wealth of knowledge it’s great and generous of you to take your time as a professional to post helpful videos for us that are either starting out or returning to the game after decades have passed. I’ve haven’t played for over twenty years and it’s not like riding a bicycle so your videos have been beyond helpful and I’m fan so I love watching you play. STAY AWESOME!

Hi Just come across your videos and really enjoyed the spin explanation which made some things better to understand. It would be good if you could put a cue ball up in one of the corners showing where you are striking the cue ball when making shots. I have seen this in other tutorials and it really helps me.

Man awesome video. Time to start these drills as a new player. One thing that would help is having a graphic up on screen showing where you're striking the cue ball, if you're not hitting center. Were they all center ball? Be easy on me I'm a complete newb started playing a few months ago in a league.

I continue to struggle with rail shots. I can hit the cue ball straight, when by itself, but when I have a straight shot, with an object ball, I nearly always hit the object ball wrong, even though the cue looks straight, the object ball either goes to the left or right and hardly even into the pocket. very rarely it goes near the pocket. it's a strange one and so frustrating. Also, the 6 ball 'positional play' drill, I like the look of that. I tried it. I can';t get the cue ball to hit the top cushion, to bounce off, to get into position for the next ball. My cue ball doesn't bounce of top cushion hard enough to go behind next ball and if if I hit it slightly harder I miss the pot. Stun seems best here, as follow forward or back draw doesn't work for me here.

So when I am doing drill 1, I can make the ball each time but when I do a stop shot, it doesnt stop it keeps rolling. The follow shot, doesn't roll straight into the pocket after but typical forward and to the right. The draw shot, is very inconsistent but never straight back. =/ For the between ball shot, to see if my stroke is straight, I i can hit the cue ball and it goes between them and about 60% of the time it comes back to the cue tip, but the other times, it hits the short rail dead on straight but comes back to the right hitting or coming close to the right ball on the foot line. So, to improve, what does that mean =(

Ur drills are great but it would be better for a beginner if you teach cue action, cue ball control and positional play incorporated in your shots . Alternatively please send a link on cueing action, cue ball control and positional play. Thanks .
