That's exactly why now is not the time to be desperate. Last thing I wanna do is waste money on some woman that I don't even want to be with. I have always had the strength of mind & body to deal with this kind of situation by staying fit. Fitness is the biggest self motivator to avoid ever turning to drugs, alcohol, medication & if I ever feel slightly lonely I except it because life could easily be ten times worse. So I don't use dating apps, never have, never will. I myself am a bit old fashioned, I like to meet people at work, on holiday, chat to woman in pubs & clubs etc. Obviously won't be doing those things for a while but this Covid scam bull shit won't change me. As for dating? I don't desperately chase woman, never have. Not trying to sound like a smart ass or anything but I'd rather prove to myself that I have all the patience in the world to stay motivated & that normal good old fashioned times will one day return & go back to meeting ladies in bars. As for all this online stuff like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc, I have never used them & don't intend to. The only online social platform I use is KZread.

It´s actually easy to explain. Men tend to like way more profiles of women than the other way around. Therefore women feel like they have way more options. The feeling of being satisfied with your choice never kicks in, like when you are in a restaurant with a huge menu. The fact that women are more picky leads to the fact that only the best 20% or so of men get constant likes. So they act the very same as the women, the have a infinite pool of choice, they never settle and only search for hookups and tend not to reply properly, as women do when they match with hundreds of men. So we end up in a situation where people dont really talk to each other and are either not satisfied because of huge options or are disregarded constantly because of not being in the top league in regards of looks. The cycle never ends and these dating apps make fuck loads of money. The solution is to get collectively picky as men. But that is not going to happen so ban this shit out of your life!

It's weird how that rings true, yet the whole world seems to be on these sites, so you would think that SOME of them must be normal and have an attention span. But maybe not, maybe is it is indeed a worryingly accurate cross section of the world's current humans and there are just less 'good' ones out there to find? I hope it's not the case, but with how increasingly self-absorbed society gets and is encouraged to be, how can our mindsets NOT all be getting contaminated by such social environments ?

I loved that bit where you said (turning natural desire into a commodity - profit) i can't help think that food, water and even our homes are now sold as entertainment rather than a requirement. And that is how we end up eating industrial by-products that then cause addiction and health issues... health issues??? thats ok, just get insurance from my other company listed under "health care". Lets face it, health care isn't what is delivered... sick care is more accurate... health care is good working conditions, clean air, clean water, healthy food and good access to natural environments... if you design society to make sick people, you need sick care!

Cook good, lift weights, be jack of all trades and 100 talents, earn good, have a stable job, be in perfect physical and mental health, god forbid you show some weakness in your character(men need to show some emotions, but when they actually do, it's suddenly repulsive) and if all that is good, you can still feck everything up instantly, if you start a conversation with simple "Hey!" and didn't think for a perfect opener on a person that you know nothing about yet, lol. Meanwhile standarts for women - > don't be obese (optional). > don't be insane (optional). > at least look like a woman lol (optional). >asking for her to at least be able to cook good might caunt as sexist.. I think the deleterious effects of swipe and move on were in place before the giant PANDA started rampaging around the globe. People are behind a screen, separated by a greater distance than in-person, using asynchronous communication, and by use of the interface, they know there are a lot of other choices / matches that could be better. It's a sort of detachment from the individual combined with FOMO. It is an inherent problem to online dating. I think the convenience of interfacing via these portals, at your side at all times, only compounds the problem of non-committal asynchronous connection.

I am 28 and single - I think that - if you just want a dating experience with someone badly, like if it is a Friday night and it has been a while since you went out on a date, or if Valentine' day is just around the corner or something - then a dating app would be handy. But to continuously look for "matches" with the goal of finding a significant other and to your self-worth to be reduced to merely a swipe to the left or right - well, let's just say this is wrong on many levels.

The only reason people feel like shit about it is because the media throws it in our faces all the damn time. We’re not animals, we are civilized human beings who do not NEED to reproduce. Matter of fact mass reproduction has led to overpopulation and over consumption of limited resources. That’s part of why they’re pushing COVID so hard I’d wager. To me this feels exactly like every other old-fashion, modern-fashion technology area. The more society "progresses" towards needing less effort, the more it will give in to any effortless life. It's a direct relation, not hard to understand at all, especially if you have, or know people who have grown up in a village without internet. They might even have less money and know less things about science and literature, or to operate a computer, but they are a thousand times more resilient to emotion, and even more socially skilled. Not a 100% flawless rule, but still a pretty accurate one, and it's more than obvious why. When humans don't need something which isn't an instinctive pleasure (dopamine release), why the hell will they pursue it? Social and romantic action is the same. We have a libido that "needs" to be satisfied, and through it we would pursue romance and being socially engaging, so that people might take a deeper interest. Now that libido can be directly satisfied by filling a curriculum and pressing a few buttons (or sensors) on the phone. What drive do we have to go through the scenic route. Personally I feel the right way combating that is through culture, just like every other actual social problem, drugs and alcohol and so on. But it is undeniable that the more we can have things done for us, the less tendency we will have to pursue them ourselves. And ultimately, the more meaning our life will lose. It's why I always found, even when I was not religious, that religion is an important thing. We diss on religion because it's "old fashion" and because it's "tiranny", but the truth is, religion used to label these vices and lacks of strength to avoid bad tendencies "sins", and only after years and years of "studying" do I realize: maybe these people who "invented" the "wizard in the sky who watches all" weren't so deluded as it is easy for us young generations to believe. Maybe they actually knew something that we don't. Maybe they understood something that we right now can't even begin to fathom. And it's not magic, and it's not wizardry, and it's not psychicness. It's intellect. Understanding of humanity. We need a higher purpose, a higher reality, so that we have a reason to avoid vice.

And those 80+ year olds still have a 75% chance of surviving this bloody virus... My grandpa, 91 survived it. He's taking it slow but he's getting back up again. Ofcourse not everyone is as lucky. But attend to these people and let everyone else just be. And now there is this new vacinne which uses a totally different techineque not familiar to us which has been forced to be made as soon as possible injected in millions of people... And for what? These 80 year old whom likely already have kidney failures and heart deseases? Of course there are exceptions but these precautions are unproportional... And it's kinda pissing me off. Plus you pretty much can't sue the pharmaceutical companies when there indeed is something wrong with this vaccine, or atleast it's very easy for them to dismiss these casses. Yeah this all sounds very right. Plus thousands apon thousands have lost their jobs, They have no money, they're forced to stay inside, buisnesses are crashing, depression and anxiety is rising, so are the suicuide rates and meanwhile these rich people get paid millions for jack shit.

What worked for me was Isha Kriya and inner engineering, I feel fantastic and take every day as it comes but with joy, with determination, with love and willingness to succeed in everything I do, fully involved without being dead serious about life, it's just a play man enjoy 🙏

@@zpaztrik1418 Have done everything. Tried everything. No answers to life except Islam. Trust me bro.. I am not being a preacher or trying to sell some dogma etc. Its just the truth. It may hurt for a while. It maybe inconvenient. But, once you absorb the true essence of Islam into your life, you will not go back to anything else. Life is a test. We are souls in a human body. God is one. Muhummad, jesus, moses were only servants and apostles of God. Everything is meant to be and are plans in the grand scheme of things. This life is not the end of it.

Its a fact that we cannot escape. So, what answers or solutions would you give to him. There are no solutions except being so immersed in the thoughts of God, that mere physical possessions and interests are nothing but illusory moments in time and energy. I met my partner on tinder, although I was against dating apps, me and a friend were bored so just went on there for entertainment. However, i met my partner on there and we’ve now been together 2 years, it’s the best relationship I’ve ever been in and I know we’re gonna be together for the rest of our lives. If you’re a genuine person who doesn’t objectify people and have your head screwed on, then it can be okay. I do agree that everyone should be careful and mindful of what they do and how they use these commodities though.
