Before you spray candy paint!  How to spray candy paint.

Got the opportunity to spray candy, midnight blue on this 1967 mustang. I noticed it has a slight purple tint to it, and looks black at night.  If you ask me, this color looks perfect on a car like this.  But when it comes to sprain Candy Paint, you have to be extremely cautious and have to take your time..  you wouldn’t want to mess up on a curb paint job he could be very costly and time-consuming. One little mistake could cost you three days of work..  the day that you decide to paint should strictly be for painting do everything you have to do the day before do you want painting day to be strictly for painting.  that way your mind is free and strictly focused on painting.  6 to 8 inches from the panel, and after every pass drop down 25% .  on your last coat apply a drop coat by applying a light mist of paint about 12 inches from the panel, and that could practically cover up some imperfections and hide tiger stripes or blotchy spots. feel free to hit the subscribe button to stay updated and entertained as I grow and learn myself!!

sorry to tell you that true candy paint is transparent and has no pearls or anything in it...and it is a 3 stage paint job... BASE....CANDY...CLEAR COAT
Kandy base coat looks real nice but it ain’t real real Kandy ,

Good video. I got tired of hearing my compressor so built a 4’ x 4’ lean too on the outside wall. Took 4 ‘ of pipe to extend the existing airline. Poured small pad to keep compressor of ground. Put side panels on with removable front panel. Put an extension on the tank drain valve, to drain condensate after use. It’s A Lot quieter. Have a good 2024.

What size tip did you use for the base coat and what size flake?
that’s not a real candy that’s a pearl mixed up to look like candy you spray candies over silver or gold and the color is just clear mixed with a color

Not true kandy. This a basecoat kandy from the House of kolor BC line . Real kandy is from UK line UK means urethane ,BC means basecoat. They look good but will NEVER match the look of urethane kandy . This is only for someone with less experience or not enough vash for the real deal 🤝💯
What size tip did you use for the base coat and what size flake?
