I've lived in Lakeland for over 20 years and the city has changed and grown considerably since I first moved here back in the late 1980's when population was less than 100,00. I've lived in North, Central, and currently in South Lakeland. Only thing I can think of that would deter some new people moving here is the horrendous traffic volume on roads that can't handle it. S and N Florida Ave in particular. Other than that I've loved living here and will probably be here another 20 years. Great video btw. :)

Every city has its negatives but Lakeland really has some special things going on. And I am married lol but I do appreciate the support!

@@jordanshotit3967 Gulf Stream park beautiful property with the second biggest statue in the United States 🇺🇸 lot of Luxury stores and restaurants and a Casino.❤️ and also Atlantic Village another property with beautiful restaurants and lounges.🇺🇸❤️

All these videos.. LOL. DO YOUSELF A FAVOR, before you move ANYWHERE, do LOTS OF homework. DO NOT EVER base opinions of youtubers on a life change! Spend endless hours reading! OFF KZread. Find crime facts. Track down actual school system reviews from parents! Go meet the local PTA even! Go visit shop owners of small business. Heck, talk with a sheriff if he is off duty or grabbing a coffee! Go to the community you are interested in MANY different days and hours. See how lives there. See how the locals drives! Is it many teens and young adults driving like idiots and gang like clothing? All honda civics? LOL. Go there on Saturday to see if kids are out having fun and neighbors are hanging out, or is it a complete ghost town! THese videos are all really pointless, or worse, made by the local real estate agents pushing an agenda. I have literally been spending 4-6 hours a day researching most ALL of florida. And I come to find out, so many of these videos have nothing to do with reality. Some are okay. Some are part of the truth. PLUS your idea of safe and mine could be very different. Same as traffic,. SAme as acceptance level of other humans.

I would advise everyone to research before they make a move, but video is able to show everyone the visual aspects of how day to day life can be in Florida. Some people are moving from places that snow a lot and haven't experienced the Florida weather! Great Advice! We hope you enjoyed the video as much as we enjoyed making it! What part of the USA are you from?
