Almost Har hostel me gym hai... Hostel mess me khana health ke liye toh theek hota hai par monotonous hone ke karan boring ho jata hai

I'll be joining IITD this aug and want to sincerely clearify this. I have wheat allergy and will be staying in hostel so can there be accomodations in the mess food cource? Also as a freshie single hostel rooms possible hai?

As a fresher, single rooms are not available. You can talk to the mess incharge, they are willing to co-operate and cook special meals if someone demands for it.

i have watched endless amount of videos but no one talks about the bathrooms in hostels 😭. what is the sharing situation of bathrooms? like 2 rooms share 1 bathroom or are there attached bathrooms? please reply

There are 3 common washrooms for 28 rooms .. each having multiple basins showers etc. Most of the hostels have roughly the same amount. In my experience you'll not have any major problems.

Alag alag hostels hain randomly milte hain... Ground floor milta hai aur pure campus mein ramps vegera hain sabke liye accessible banane ke liye

It's a great branch, I'd say go for this unless you're getting some circuital branch at IITB maybe.

Stating facts: yes you do get time to prepare for tech but you gotta work hard for getting grade(if you go to classes regularly you will do it easily) . There are two lab days in a week. So it depends on how you manage. Hardly 10% students are going for research and further studies, others sit for placement. Do not take it just because you like physics as you would be forced to study physics in other branches too (in some or the other way.) Also EP is not considered as a circuital branch yet. There are only core placements in R&D , but Companies prefer Mtech over BTech. Baki, students toh mainly opt for tech or consult. And no, there are close to zero research opportunities here, in physics department.
