Lucifer thought those thoughts because Lucifer knew who he was up against, his brother Michael. Jehovah is Michael & his hosts. Lucifer wasn't trying to take God's (Ain soph) place, because nobody can replace the infinite light force, because it's just a force, not a being. This whole telling, while epic and captivating, is just a fictional spin-off. None of this is in the Bible but inspired by some events described.

A couple of problems with that. If your god is omniscient he already knew what Lucifer would do before he ever created him. And how id Lucifer, an angel of god, become evil? Isaiah 45:7 in the King James Version reads, “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.” Seems almost as much of a setup as a god putting a tree in a garden, knowing in advance that the humans would eat from it, lying to them about the tree's fruit (while the serpent told the truth), just to cast them out when they did exactly what he knew they would do in the first place. Almost seems like the only wat Lucifer could become evil and start a war against god is if god was in on it.

@@craigjomaia first of all, the bible is hard to interpret. So it takes a lot of study around a lot of different subjects to really understand the symbolism. God did make all the good and bad stuff. It promotes our development. We exist outside of time. Death isnt real. Everything that hurt you will be nothing when the veil is lifted. It all comes down to pride. Do you want sin? Why? Dont you notice the consequences? All God wants you to do is live in a way where you will be able to have free will in heaven and not ruin it. You have to initiate contact. Say hey God. Just say hi. Literally thats all you really need to do. Then pay attention because you will probably get a sign. Be open to it. Jesus makes me feel better than anything else ever has and I really looked everywhere.

Had God been an evil God. He would've ended Lucifer and his 1/3 where they stood at his gate. They would be reduced to nothing. The fact that God even allowed it to go that far says everything. I know it's a fantasy comic but it's partly true. God allows evil to exist because there is a possibility that even one tainted by evil may one day see the light and come to him.

Because the Bible is the biggest contradiction ever man made. I often see this idea put forth by many Christians that God is exempt from guilt because these things are "sanctified." God did these things, so they must be holy. Yet, doesn't this seem kind of hypocritical? (VERY!) This "Do as I say, not as I do" logic seems kind of backwards for a God that is just and benevolent, no? So, I suppose what I'm asking you all is this: is God moral by virtue of being God, even when He fails to follow the same standards He expects of humans? Think about it ...here are some of his deadly sins he committed... Greed: God wants us to give ourselves completely to Him, and offers punishment for those who do not comply with this requirement - YAH, totally not a dictatorship. Envy: "I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God." He blatantly says in the bible he is jealous of the other gods worshiped by humans. Enough said. Also, Grow up, God. Pride: In Job 38, God reveals himself to Job when he is asked why he was being punished. God does not answer this question, rather, He comes to Job and tells him about all the things amazing things He has done and is doing. Narcissistic much? Sorry, I mean a sociopathic Narcissist. My bad. Gluttony: God overindulges in the worship He receives, which gives him his influence. Insufferable Deity this thing is. Wrath: I feel this goes without saying. "God's wrath" is very often referenced in the Bible. PRO genocide, infanticide, colluded with the "enemy" - WHAT wing of Heaven was that btw ? where ya know YOU could sin.

@@Addison-RN God is not a democracy. He is the creator of everything. He is the King of Kings. All of the “bad” attributes you mentioned, are simply a warped view. “Though shall have no God but Me” for example. There ARE no gods besides Him. The other “gods” are fallen beings trying to get mankind to worship them instead of the One True God. He is “jealous” in the sense that he wants to protect you, not in the sense that He even thinks the other “gods” are His equal. Real world example: I am protective over my daughters. I don’t want them to get hurt by idiots. So if I tell them that a boy is not good for them, that would be called “jealousy” but it’s not, as I will always be their father, no boy or man could ever take that place in their hearts.

@@Addison-RN the bible is a spiritual living book. It only seems like foolishness to those that look upon it with veiled eyes. When the holy spirit gives you eyes to see it is wondrous and has no contradictions, but answers. You have a prideful view of it which is why you are blind to it, and it is closed to you. As a former atheist i can attest to the difference.

it was a incredible, incredible video. good job. your narration was some of the best I've ever heard it was very reminiscent to me of the Paradise Lost, written by John Milton. there was a novel version written of the poem by Joseph Lanzara and he brought it to life like I couldn't get out of the poem. You ever try reading that poem? (oh my God. i thought you have to be born in those days to understand it) very difficult to read. I never even got through all of it but thanks to Joseph Lanzara he put it in a way that I understood it, just as you have done with this part. if you get a chance read it and keep up the good work. and like another person said, an anime version of this by good animators with good budgets would crush it.
