Prefer the buildings to be shown as found. The goal is to document and show how things are. Thank you for your approach.

Yes, I'm not an explorer anymore (70+ years ago; mein Gott, I'm old!), but I agree, people should NOT rearrange an abandoned building. You wouldn't go into a cemetery and rearrange the grave markers!

I would always leave a place as I found it. But I also have contacted the guardians/owners of some places about buying stuff out or donating stuff before it gets stolen or wrecked. That worked surprisingly well.

Great episode! About the rearranging of items, I don't see anything wrong with it as long as nothing is being damaged or destroyed in the process. Although personally we tend to refrain from moving things, unless it's a very simple thing that will greatly improve a shot without much effort.

I personally don’t like to see items disturbed- it doesn’t matter if it’s for a “better shot”. There are always reasons why the structures/properties are in the condition. Just because it’s abandoned doesn’t mean it’s “fair game”. Personally, I think to say “as long as it’s not damaged” is a little dismissive- course nothing should ever be damaged & that goes without saying. It’s more a matter of respect for the property & the person’s overall outlook of what the purpose of Urbex is- documenting history or the entertainment of the individual doing the exploring, which can be exploitative. Anyone on the property are “guests” trespassing- which CAN be done respectfully- which is the way BWT ALWAYS approaches the situations. It also shows in the way BWT actually researches the back story of the places they are going & isn’t just there for the scenery.

Til and Marco,Your introduction, editing,history,and narration into your explores are the best!! The history on the abandonded papermill and its apprenticeship school shows its past has a thriving business(and struggles..now abandonded). Glad you are all safe from the hurricane,shows how much dedication and determination goes into urban exploration!! 😘👍💕💕

Please, leave sites exactly as you found them....I don't even bother watching channels that clearly have "staged" a site, it totally has ruined the abandoned building and it is no longer "real", it is just a picture that has no meaning to me. Thank you for being respectful.

I always enjoy your videos. I've come to appreciate the beauty in decay in the abandonments you explore. I'd rather things be left as they are, not moving items around to compose a shot. The beauty is in the chaos sometimes.

Guys, this episode was especially interesting to me because the area I grew up in Wisconsin was built on the paper industry. My career-life was working for industrial engineering/design companies centered around the paper industry. So I really enjoyed this. Also, the opening drone shot with the train going by was your best yet.

I wish that people would leave places as-is. If you are going to explore, you need to leave the place as you found it. Awesome video guys!

I think the other photographers weren't being honest...I think they wanted to move the strawberries for their own liking and their own pictures. They should leave things as found like all of you do. Really enjoyed this video! Thanks for sharing!

Wonderful spot and video! (That area looks like the Applachian area in the US.) On the question of disturbing abandonments: I love to arrange, so I would be really tempted to rearrange if it was only minor, such as leaving a door shut or not for a pic. I think anything major and you just need to give up urbex photography. An asute photographer will not need to rearrange. If someone can't find the shot they want, they probably need to move on. If it is in extreme decay, it needs to rest in peace. The true spirit of finding, filming, and photographing is lost when abandonments are constantly tampered with. The spell of lost to time is broken.

Sometimes when you explore abandoned buildings you can see that photographers have neatly arranged bottles of medicine or something similar to to that, to photograph. I dont think there is anything wrong with the idea of moving items about , but its also nice to discover items without setting them up for a shot. Personally I leave everything as I found it. Great video as always!

Put things back as you found them. Natures arrangements can be goofy to us. Some photographers have an eye to catch the beauty in nature without our rearrangement. ☺

Interesting to see a training school that was part of the old style apprenticeship system in Europe. The reality of one vocation for a lifetime is a bygone thing today. Seldom now do people work 50 years at the same occupation. Thanks to you for the risk and time to record these places.

It's nice to see as is, not staged. Great video. The prison will be great. Alot of history to be found there.

This was an amazing place! The level of decay is so beautiful in its contrast, and I always love moss and algae inside buildings. I really always appreciate your approach to exploration and your love for the history of each place you visit. I seriously want at least one of those blueprint cabinets, they are so useful, and finding the blueprints still inside is such a bonus. Please stay careful as you go...that bridge was so dangerous and we want you to be safe out there. The origami strawberries were so unusual to discover in such a place...they looked quite recent and so bright and clean. I enjoy all the places you take me to, and watching your skills and confidence grow over the time since I first subscribed is perhaps the most rewarding part of it all. Thank you for taking me along again...🖤🇨🇦 PS: I prefer to see. Things the way you do, documenting what you find, and. Leaving it as you found it for the next explorer. The true beauty is in the way Nature reclaims things...you can set up any kind of photo in a studio, but when you are given the chance to see a property in the process of decay why would you want to tidy it all up and stage a photo? That just seems bizarre to me, I have seen homes where dishes are left on the table, like everyone just got up and ran out...and I have seen tables all set and cleaned to take a photo that doesn’t tell the actual story of the place. I am far more fascinated by the ones with a little mystery to make me think and wonder.🖤🇨🇦

I really like your videos. You remind me of my younger days. I still explore with an eye for urban decay. In Northern California are many old mining and logging abandoned areas. The strawberries in the school have such brilliant color. They seem placed by someone after the closure as they show no decay. Maybe an example of dyes used in the printing jobs? If you get the correct mixture the result could be those bright lasting colors. I have two areas to lean on for that. Some experience with chemistry and some work for a printer. Just a driver, but I often saw him mixing the dyes.

Leave it the way you found it, never stage a place, or take things that don’t belong to you. You guys did the right thing. Thank you for being respectful.

I leave it exactly as I find it. I prefer photos to be organic not staged. :) And I would love to see you guys go back there when you have more time to spend. Thanks for the wonderful videos! 💗

You guys do such classy work! I love that you give some history, and that you treat these places with respect and sometimes even a little reverence, as well as not staging scenes. I agree with those not in favor of staging. I understand photographers wanting more artistic shots, or wanting to capture a certain mood, but then are they capturing something or creating something? Maybe both, maybe neither, maybe it's really not a big deal. I just like the idea that I'm seeing a place as it was left when it was last lived in or worked in or worshipped in. These days, it can be hard to tell, we might be only seeing a place as the most recent explorers left it instead (but note to other explorers - we can usually tell).

I really like hearing about the history of the places you visit so the effort is appreciated and I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that. I don't think it's a big deal if you move a chair or small items into the picture to get a good shot but those strawberries just looked out of place so I don't know what those people were thinking. I want to see everything as it was left. It is much more provocative left in place to age. I appreciate how BWT documents and shares the history with us. I now see my present collection of things very differently. So glad to have found your channel.

Your presentation of the images of the untouched strawberries and then the photography of the moved "staged" strawberries made a profound impact on my preception of the entire scene! Untouched images work my brain to try and understand what happened here, who was a part of this etc. The staged image make me concentrate on the strawberries themselves and what the Artist was presenting. Totally different and not as full of wonderment or amazement as naturally found photography. Good work, explorers!

I think its a bit odd to want things just how you saw them in a photo to the point of being somewhat agitated about it. Photographers are artists and things will get moved to create a new artistic vision! He should be happy that they hadn't been destroyed by vandals or taken! This video was great, I love all the time you put into researching the history of each place!

Thankyou for sharing your explore. I thought the mini-forest in the courtyard looked beautiful. Must be a good home for the birds.

Hope you all kept safe from the hurricane. I guess urban exploring is becoming increasingly more popular where it wouldn't be unusual to bump into another urbex explorer. So what is up with the strawberries there? Looking forward to your next video.

I'm interested in the abandoned architecture and unusual atmosphere but you guys like a bit more decay then I do. To each their own I guess. I really enjoyed the human parts too. The bridge does look scary. Thank God Ya did fall with the bridge. I love the huge strawberries. OMG, a Boat!!!. I would of never thought a Nice Boat would be in there. I have no idea why they would have big Strawberries in the school. Seems like to Me You would of found them in a children school. Maybe in science class for growing Strawberries would be my guess. Yes Ya should go back. Sorry the weather was so bad at least Ya didn't caught up in it. I love the video as always. Peace. :)

Hi. I lived in the sierra mountains of northern california as a teenager. We often went on short hikes near town or cabin crossing bridges like they did. To be honest, scary but lots of fun. ☺

I prefer as found, although the strawberries had a fun effect but should be returned to original placement when shot completed. Thank you for always having integrity when exploring. When I explore, I try to keep my footprint on a site minimal as possible.

I would second the choice of leaving all as-is for many reasons... for historical reasons, also to protect what has been discovered, once someone starts moving things, it' becomes a chain reaction... keep up the excellent work guys... i love you videos & commentary.. quite rare but impressive quality these days

Guys, as a paranormal investigator, and running the channel MGP Investigation Studios, it is a prime thought to leave things the way they are found, and to NEVER take something away from the site, unless there is some sort o special permission of the sight owners. Just like in any investigation, I treat photography the same way. I love Urban Exploration. I don't like the idea of re-aranging things, or making them fall over, or whatever. Thank you for asking. I can't tell you how much I enjoy your channel, and would LOVE to come along on an exploration, especially since I can start returning to England and Finland in the coming months. I'll likely not start going back into interior Europe until late 2021 into '22. Anyway, thank you.

I loved this video. Never stage a photo, take the picture as it is. Please go back there, and do other places.

The strawberries appear to be a new addition since they are in pristine shape compared to the decay of the place. I wonder if they were put there as a clue to something about the place or are they just random.

I feel the same way. Fabric doesn't tend to keep such bright colors over the years. Although one thought I had was deliberate chemical application. Maybe it was a project to show success in achieving lasting chemically created colors? It is a printers school.

Great video guy's! Regarding the strawberries, I believe abandoned buildings and everything inside should be left alone, not moved to suite Instagram photographers. Besides the obvious, the biggest problem w groups moving items is the changing of the authenticity of the location/decay/history. It hurts what we trust with our eyes. Now when I see the abandonment, while I ❤️ the natural decay (when there), I truly wonder if it is as it was when it was abandoned or if it was set up for pics or video. Kinda puts a damper on the entire feeling of the find. Thanks for asking our opinion ✌🏻

Great video guys. I don't tend to rearrange abandoned buildings. Unless it is a chair out of place in a photo or an item that may make the photograph look cooler. For example paperwork on a table.

Do you put it back even if it was goofy looking? One striking rearrangement I saw once that had been left was a dining room. No way could it had been left that way. Another was result of flooding. Mother nature doesn't set the dinner table. Lol

Mehr Videos aus dem Erzgebirge solltet ihr auf jeden Fall machen (super Gegend dafür 🤗). Bei der "Strawberry School" kann ich mir beim Anblick der im ehemaligen Schulgebäude hin- und herbewegten Riesendekoerdbeeren sehr gut vorstellen, warum diese Urbexlocation diesen Namen hat. Das ehemalige vermietete Kulturhaus mit dem Motorboot drin ist auch ein echter Hingucker. Bis zum nächsten Video. Viele Grüße aus Norddeutschland und einen schönen Sonntagabend 😊😊😊

I really enjoyed the way you narrated your film, I would’ve liked that you captioned when exactly the buildings were last occupied, wether it was last year or 50 years ago, it would give an indication to the deteriation rate.

When photographing anything, but especially abandoned buildings ir structures, i prefer it left as it is. But its hard to know if it was left as the original occupants left it or other explorers. I don't explore much, but i prefer untouched! Love your explores! And i understood the last word at the waste treatment plant 😂!

As a photographer myself, I think that as long as there is nothing destroyed, vandalized, or stolen, I don't see any problems in changing objects from their "original places" to compose a photo. After all, nobody will know the true arrangements from the time the owners or responsible people lived or worked there.
