@@realityxlight622 cinema 4d actually, but really like blender since its free and comes with tonnes of features which are at par with other paid ones, though we never pay hehe, but Im just doing as a hobby but your channel/work really inspire me to take the next step and do something. Wish other youngsters also take interest .

As a VW enthusiast there were a few subtle details on the car that gave it away (window sizes/shape, the lack of edge and centre pressing in the bonnet/ hood) but other than that it looked really real!

Wow this is amazing, how did you get the beetle to look realistic in the end it was the final edit you showed in your clip. I get the modelling and texturing adding detail and that but you did something that made the scene believable. I am new to blender and I hope you can point me in the right way, something I can look up on. Hope your career continues to grow

I matches the sun angle and color. Place cylinder extrude up and then add plane, use that plane as shadow catcher. I Scale the cylinder to match the height of my actor. Rotate the sun till my cylinder has the exact same length as my character. That's the secret

@@realityxlight622 thank you so much for that that is real gold right there I assume the same trick would work if you had a cgi object indoors rather than out then you would match the light source instead of the sun I wonder if you would have to consider how the light source interacts with walls also

It's because The Director Find that taking this beetle car to this location is way too expensive.. He has to spend too much for this beetle car to rent for this day. This scene took us almost 3 days to shoot which will add up more budgets.
