@@evanfagerty348 Rob has confidence and is willing to take chances, none of the others are, I see Rob being the most successful🤷🏻‍♂️ LFG is amazing, I love me some LFG, Jon B is ehh, peric sucks, LOJO is awesome, flair is awesome, as a whole I think it’s a pretty good group, you have a few that sticks to the fishing, a few fishes and hunts, others do other type of videos, I think they’re all doing good, besides peric

Googan squad isnt what it used to be. Jones and LFG are really the only ones who haven't really changed.

Hey LFG, I have 2 Penn Number 9’s that belonged to my Grandfather. He passed away of cancer at an early age when I was 11 years old. I am now nearly his age when he passed away. I sent them back to Penn last year and had them refurbished. I bought new St. Croix rods for them. My best fishing buddy took my 2 sons and I out this summer and we caught Spanish Mackerel on Grandpa’s reels! After the trip I cleaned them up and put them on a shelf. They will always be my favorite reels! My Grandmother just passed away this year at 96 years old and while going through her things I found pictures of my Grandfather and my Father on deep sea fishing trips back in the day. I look forward to having the pictures framed and put with the reels in my man cave. Isn’t it funny how simple objects can take us back in time and remind us of those we love? Merry Christmas to you and your family!

The two best Googan members, in my opinion. Hope to get on their KZread level someday

Definitely one of my favorite videos on youtube. Anyone can open a brand new box and talk about how dope it is, but i love seeing proven gear. Not just that though, this vid is what fishing buddies do together. Not stupid challenges and crazy stuff. Just cracked open beers and just talk fishing. Showing off gear, talking about memories, and just straight up real moments that will forever be good memories. Great vid LFG and Jon b🤙 cant wait for more🔥🔥

oh yeah for sure, with penn you won’t get the best performance, the lightest reels, or the best looking reels but you get a damn good reel for the money that last for ages

Enjoyable video. There is a story behind every reel. My old favorites are the Quantum Lite, the Ryobi GM-40 and the Diawa MA1000. Still going strong.

Pretty fun video man i enjoyed learning about these reels i live in pacific Nw Oregon and bass fishing is hard but fun out here never had any of these reels cool to learn about em though

My first open face casting reel was and old Abu Garcia 5000D I got from my dad, when he bought a couple of these new reels he fell in love with the OG Bantam 100 with teak wood handles that he put on some old Lew's speed stick pistol grip rods I believe they may have been 6' . I remember saving money from mowing grass in the spring and summer and getting a couple of the Bantam 100 s for about $60.00 plus tax at the local Walmart mid to late 70's and i owned several of the 10 XSGs in the early 80's and in the mid 80's I remember getting a Shimano Bass Master reel that you could change the gear ratio with the shift of a lever positioned under the star drag adjuster and it had an anti-reverse push button (talk about technology) which I remember catching several hammerhead sharks and a stingray on while stationed in Hawaii using some old 14/40 oval type monofilament.

The first DC reel for saltwater was the Excense DC 2012... reel was designed for catching Seabass and tbh has probably one of their best DC systems built into it. I had two for a long time and they were flawless.

Great video I liked it and not sure why. I’m 53 years old, and all those reels look new to me. I have a few late 80’s early 90’s reels that I’m still using. Caught 1000’s of bass on them and love them. Next time you do one of these videos, invite Richard Gene and showcase some vintage reels. Love the old stuff, but my PB is on a Curado K with LFG Big Sexy 2 years ago. You guys are awesome, keep it up, and come fish Missouri !!!!
