Totally agree about seeing the movie... Tons of great music!!
I’m so grateful to God He let me be young and rockin’ back then ! Such great music. We were sick of war. This helped some healing.

I completely feel the same way.
I just turned 58 and I’m so grateful that I grew up in this music generation. You reaction was spot on. The Bee Gees are some of the best.
A simpler time❤
You have to watch the whole movie. This is the song where they danced and they realized that they were in love.
Danced like every one and no one at once was watching. Every one imagined they could dance at least once in a long lifetime with some like this.
The movie was Saturday Night Fever starring John Travolta. Travolta was dancing in the video. It was a huge blockbuster from the 70s.
One of my favorite songs forever!! I was 14 and was madly in love with Bee Gees... I'm still in love with themin 2022💖💖💖💖💕💕💕💖💖💖💕
How John Travolta danced of stage, with those small hand movements reminds me of Vogue by Madonna, the dancer was superb.
Sara, we were trying to make our girl fall in love with that music, and it was really a great help!
Love Disco! 70.s were Awesome Days!!Love This Movie! Bee Gees are The Best! "Happy St' Patricks Day"
Such a beautiful song.
you are so pretty
Your happiness is overwhelming just watching and listening to that famous movie soundtrack
My favorite BeeGees song from the 70s because of the strong emotion connections.
It doesn't get any better than this love song that complements a forever classic movie .iam sure you'll enjoy.
Great movie and I had the double album which was great. The group Tavares also did a great version on this same song on the album❤
I remember those disco dance contests. I won 400.00 one night! We had so much fun til the music industry shut them down. There was nothing like it.
I met my future husband in a disco in 1979. He always asked me to dance to this song. After a few months, we fell in love and got married, thanks to the Bee Gees! Great memories!😇
Yes it’s a Movie, it’s called Saturday Night Fever
John Travolta was the first movie star I fell in love with..I was probably about 8 years old when this came out and hearing the Bee Gees..been a fan since then…hope you know who John Travolta is?!…
I remember when men were men and women were women. Like the dance in the movie, both of them brought something to the dance floor. It was two to tango concept. Now in society, it is about selfish and conveniences.

This was from the movie Saturday Night Fever which started a big disco craze in the late 1970s. It also made John Travolta a big star.

A lot of people actually think this movie and the BeeGees actually killed disco. Don’t get me wrong I love this movie and the songs. I have my own emotions I go thru especially with this particular song. But many disco historians have bad things to say. I kinda agree but it doesn’t take away from the great music
I loved the dinner scene where Tony gets hit upside the head !
SNF in parts managed a perfect blend of music and disco dancing. Changed the culture in a small way. Movie goers went nuts as I remember. If you haven't had the privilege of watching the film sad for you
Possibly unknown to many people is the fact the Bee Gee's wrote songs for other artists that became big hits. Such as, "Islands in the Stream" a big hit for Dolly Parton & Kenny Rogers. Yes, she needs to watch the entire movie to hear the soundtrack.
Love you too Sarah!!!
Great days of DISCO.
I love your reactions. Please do You Should Be Dancing . It has little brother Andy (RIP) singing in it too

This whole soundtrack was fire!!!
Thank you, Sarah, I love how you bring yourself so fully into these video reviews. I really like the BeeGees and you've inspiredd me to love their sound even more. Blessings!
A great bunch of their music came out while I was stationed in the Federal Republic of Germany 🇩🇪. Probably the greatest period in my life. I loved being in Germany. Much has changed, and if it’s like here, not always for the best. I was in Stuttgart during the pre and post trial for the Bader-Meinhof gang.

Thank you Sarah, I am elderly now. It is a joy to relive these wonderful songs through new eyes like yours. I hope you are doing well. I am sending love from my heart to you and to those you love. We are making this world better. I am sure of it.
This movie is loosely based on the actual king of disco dancing at the time. You should research it. And it's so funny, the girl he danced with followed him off the floor and then left with another man. He really liked her but she just saw him as a dance partner.
Loved dancing disco just as much as country actually won a few dance contests learned how to do dance to tejano with Selena Quintanilla being from corpus Christi Texas I'm telling you I love all music but country is my favorite 🤠
yes this is from the movie Saturday Night Fever with John Travolta(the dancer here). The bee gees wrote several of the songs of the movie soundtrack! This was from the late 70's, and I was in my teens then!!
You should watch the movie Saturday night fever it was a fantastic movie for The Times and even today the beegees wrote all the music for it long before the music I'm sorry long before the movie was ever made it was ever made and it was put on a shelf and not used until this movie and it fit perfectly. But you really owe it to yourself you should go find the beegees greatest hits they have 30 and have 30 and maybe more incredible songs that they wrote and performed that are every bit as good as this song and many others that you will hear by the beegees they are incredible eyes firmly believe they were sent here especially by God to give us the greatest entertainment ever.
Beautiful and yes. It's from the movie "Saturday night fever" a box office smash
By now you've reilzed the king's of disco
I once owned the entire album of "Saturday Night Fever", the soundtrack to the movie. Unfortunately I lost it during a move along with many other vinyls. It was exceptional, "More than a woman" on the same album was also performed by the Tavares, a group of 5 good singers, all brothers, Americans. Thank you for bringing it back to us young people of that era.

I like the Bee Gees version but absolutely love the Tavares version. They bring a bit of the fifties do-wop sound with their excellent harmonizing. Great song!
Sarah Thank you for playing the video all the way through before commenting!!!!!!
I see you know the movie...good.
Days of the discotheque nights lol.
That was John Travolta way back when he was young. Which makes me wonder if you have done a reaction for Grease? He starred with Olivia Newton John in that cult classic and they did one hell of a performance at the end of the movie. The song is "You're the one that I want". He actually sings in that one. Would love to see your reaction to that.
I think you got pleasantly distracted by the video... :) Definately see the whole movie.
Anos incríveis...
This is the most romantic scene in the movie 😍💑
It's "more than a movie" about disco. IMO, it's about a movie of a young man coming of age.
If you like harmony, try a capella groups Pentatonix (Hallelujah) and Home Free (How Great Thou Art)...
I can literally see your heart palpitate.
Did you ever learn to dance the hustle great dance in fact there's a lot of ways to dance disco you and your husband should try it sometime and country dancing as well as in urban cowboy with John Travolta actually he was in both movies Saturday night fever great dance movies you and you're husband will love dancing both disco and country take this Texas cowboys advice Sarah 👍
No many songs over so many decades. You can do a search for a playlist and just keep going. I recommend some of their earlier stuff too. You'll hear more of Robin - very unique voice

I love this movie! I was only about 6 or 7 yo when I first watch this movie. I'm 48 btw. This brings so much memories. Few years ago I was walking along the famous river bank in London when one of the tiny shops was playing Bee Gees song. And since then whenever I listen to their song, i feel like I'm standing at the exact same spot, slowly floating! 😅 Love your reaction to their songs btw! There's a documentary in Netflix about them, go check it out!
👍🔥❤️
You will love the movie soundtrack and the movie
If you really like the Bee Gees that much 😀then please react to Immortality by Bee Gees with Celine Dion 💯👍
Great reactor, sincere and from the heart, instant subscriber. The closest we’ve come to getting half as good would be Savage Garden, also from Brisbane Australia where the Bee Gees grew up. I’d recommend Truly Madly Deeply and I Want You. They won’t disappoint
Sarah watch the movie Saturday night fever!!!!
Awesome video you are amazing
😊👍
Sarah: You should watch the movie, "Saturday Night Fever." Most, if not all of the music, is written and song by the Bee Gees. You'll love it if you haven't seen it yet.
💘💘💘
This was a reproduction of the group Tavares hit. The reason why it has that American crossover appeal. Those UK brothers, like so many others, were heavily influenced by American 🇺🇸 music . The two versions are nicely done.
@toby9999

The BeeGees wrote the song. Tavares did a cover version. That said, I love both versions.
The Bee Gees also had another brother: Andy Gibb. He had a solo career, and was famous for his many beautiful love songs. "Don't throw it all away" ( kzread.info/dash/bejne/mKB6l8OOYczAdtI.html ) is a good starting point.
Bee gees night fever, also Bee gees night fever. Also Andy gibb has more great tunes

@@wgdavis5353 Of course. Look at her, she could never be a Teenager in the 80´s and early 90´s.
They Fire-Bombed the building that Badham was Filming this movie back then in 1977, blame the Lame Jimmy carter, but this was a disaster even though they made it through. And in 1995 the BEE GEE;S made another 10 million in sales in 1995! Crazy success babay!!
Disco has legs.
👏👍👍
I think as far as rhythm and the male fa,lsetto was concerned, the Bee Gees accidentally set a standard,
Watch the movie saterday nicht fever all the songs
Try Staying Alive to react to.
The only song I truly loved at the time was Yvonne Elliman " If I can't have you" The Bee Gees and ABBA were starting to become so popular that the ugh were actually over played. I will admit however that the music I truly loved hit in the 80's..
@toby9999
2 жыл бұрын
The BeeGees and ABBA are my two favourite groups of all time. I still play their music. The wheels started falling off in the music scene early 80's with the demise of ABBA and the disco scenei (n my opinion). More and more junk post punk, new wave and synth like Human League, Devo, Flock of Seagulls, Depeche Mode etc. It was a stark change and not a pleasant one. The only redeeming factor was some good rock like Bon Jovi and U2. The 90's was even worse.
Can you please react to Robert palmer song called Know by now Please
A sad ending to this movie.
For the Bee Gees at their best I highly recommend Stayin' Alive kzread.info/dash/bejne/mIJ63MiwfLCdYsY.html
