You lads should do jerky too. It’s so easy to make and you would make a killing if it. Have one of the apprentices doing it as a side project or something.

Once upon a sizzling summer day in the quaint town of Grillington, there lived a noble knight named Sir Rumpsteak. Renowned for his bravery and his impeccable taste in beef, Sir Rumpsteak was beloved by all who dwelled in the kingdom. However, despite his fame and glory, Sir Rumpsteak felt a deep longing for adventure beyond the confines of Grillington. So, with his trusty spatula at his side and a sizzling determination in his heart, he set forth on a quest to seek out the legendary land of Sizzle. Guided by whispers of searing flames and tantalizing aromas, Sir Rumpsteak journeyed across vast plains and through dense forests, encountering various culinary creatures along the way. He battled fierce barbecue beasts and outwitted cunning condiment creatures, all in pursuit of his savory destiny. As the days turned into weeks and the weeks into months, Sir Rumpsteak faced numerous trials and challenges. Yet, with his unwavering courage and his unyielding love for adventure, he pressed on, fueled by the promise of discovering the secret to the perfect sear. Finally, after many perilous adventures, Sir Rumpsteak arrived at the fabled land of Sizzle. There, he beheld a landscape unlike any he had ever seen, with mountains of charred perfection and rivers of savory juices flowing freely. But the true test awaited him at the summit of Mount Grillymore, where the legendary Grillmaster, keeper of the sacred flames, awaited those brave enough to seek his counsel. With determination burning brighter than ever, Sir Rumpsteak ascended the mountain, facing blistering heat and treacherous terrain. At last, he reached the summit and stood before the Grillmaster, ready to learn the secrets of the perfect sizzle. With a wise smile, the Grillmaster revealed that the key to achieving the ultimate sear was not in the flames or the seasonings, but in the passion and love that one poured into their craft. And in that moment, Sir Rumpsteak realized that the true adventure was not in the destination, but in the journey itself. Filled with newfound wisdom and a deeper appreciation for the art of grilling, Sir Rumpsteak returned to Grillington as a hero. And though his quest for sizzle had come to an end, his appetite for adventure burned brighter than ever before, inspiring others to embark on their own culinary journeys. And so, the legend of Sir Rumpsteak and his quest for sizzle lived on, reminding all who heard it that sometimes, the most savory adventures are the ones we undertake with an open heart and an empty stomach.

Nice, you mentioned it'd cost 70 to 80 bucks for a whole rump, if you priced up the cuts you had at the end how much would an amateur save by butchering one at home? Been thinking of by more bulk meats, great video.

Good question! Alright well you got about 1.2kg of diced beef, most places would charge around $22kg So lets call it $25 for ease 1kg of strips $25kg Rump cap usually sit around $40-50 for a whole one You got 4 decent rump steaks, 2 x full and 2 x half thatll be about 1.8kg of steak at around $30kg Call it $50 for ease but probs more We had a couple skewers just to show diversity but theyre about $3ea, Theres about 500g of trim and fat you can mince so a further $10 for ease About $160 total I reckon lol but it can change heaps depending on what your doing with it
