yes po pwedeng pwede po, besides if BEEd ka pero want mo mag turo ng secondary pwede po yun may process through that, so no worries. im a 1st Year student po.

No po. BEEd graduates are not allowed to teach in secondary, but BSEd graduates can teach in all basic education grade levels.

I am a graduate of the old curriculum po. As I observed, the curriculum today in BEEd is more focused on the pedagogy of teaching. Before, BEEd students need to master the content of the subject they are going to teach. Today, it is more on teaching how to teach the subjects to students.

As far as I know po, BEEd students can be General or Pre-school major. They cannot specialize for a specific subject like what BSEd students do.

Kapag po ba nag educ na wala na ibang work na pwdeng pasukan? teacher na lang po talaga?

I'm currently waiting for the call to know where I will be appointed as teacher 1. As for masteral, it depends on you on how long will you take all the required subjects plus your thesis. I think, the minimum time you will spend in masteral is two years. Board exam for teachers is taken once. There will be no board exam after graduating in Master's degree.

@@imnotyourgirl8 the minimum requirement for Instructor 1 in college is 6 MA units. It means that you can teach in college even if you are not done yet with your MAEd.

The principal will determine the subjects you will handle po. But usually, you are going to handle all the subjects.

Thank you for watching my video. I think, first year BEEd and BSEd have the same set of subjects; therefore, you can still shift to the course that you really like next year. However, it is better if you consult the school because they have policies sometimes regarding the shifting of course.

To be honest, I don't have enormous knowledge about the different strands, since I graduated from the old basic education curriculum. However, HumSS is the most fitting strand for future English teachers according to what I heard.

If you are BSEd, you will take 3 tests during the LET: General Education, Professional Education, and Specialization or major. Based on my experience, Gen Ed is very easy, while Prof Ed and Major are difficult.
