I am a regular viewer of your channel and I really really appreciate the effort. My father is a trained beekeeper and treated honeybees as family so, I have few points to mention. It's clearly my own opinion. It was not necessary to use smoke. They are already in shock and if you use smoke they will suffer more. Once queen comes out of it, all will follow so there is very less chance that queen will remain inside the pottery. Intention is to avoid troubling them. Another thing is to avoid making a hole in the ಏರಿ (Don't know what we call in English). We can tie it without making hole there. Can't explain how here but can be easily done. Rest all good. Keep up the good work. All the best😊
