The Bee Gee's remind me of this Oldies Group Called " The Stylistics" Their Song is entitled ; " Betcha By Golly Wow, You're the One That I've Been Waiting For Forever" It is a beautiful Love Song Very Similar to This One. You Should Check It Out. The Bee Gees have the perfect voices to sing that song too. And Barry sounds just like him.

I was married one year (1977) before this was released in 1978. This song would have been in my wedding. Love, love, love the Bee Gees. I am a black female, 68 yrs. old, grew up with them. (A bit lengthy, but a must read.) The Bees Gees: (from left to right) Robin, Barry and Maurice (pronounced Morris) Robin (Dec 22, 1949 - May 20, 2012) passed away as a result of kidney failure. Maurice (Dec 22, 1949 - Jan. 12, 2003.) Passed as a result of a twisted intestine. He was in the hospital for 2 days. Barry said he had a heart attack, but the doctors still operated. Maurice and Robin were fraternal twins. Andy Gibb, the youngest brother, (not pictured) had his own successful career. He was 12 yrs. younger than Barry. He and Barry looked so much alike, that they could had been twins. Andy passed away in 1988, at the age of 30. He lived a lifestyle involving drugs, and he had heart problems. The brothers wrote all of his songs. Barry (middle) stated, "I am the last man standing." He was born September 1, 1946. He has 5 adult children and 7 grandkids. On September 1, 2022, he and his wife Linda celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary. (They were married on his 24th birthday.) On a sidenote, the first born is their sister, Lesley, who was 78, January 12, 2023. Lesley didn't have an interest to be in the limelight, but she can sing. The phenomenal talents of the brothers Gibb. So sad that Barry is the only brother left. They do have a sister who lives in Sydney but was never part of the music of the Bee Gees. The brothers started performing when still children in Manchester England as members of a skiffle band named The Rattlesnakes, then split off as a trio with the name Wee Johnny Hayes and the Blue Cats. When they emigrated to Australia, they chose Bee Gees because the initials BG seemed to be be everywhere in their lives - oldest brother Barry Gibb, their mother Barbara Gibb, their agent/promoter of the time Bill Goode, a DJ who helped launch them on radio named Bill Gates, and of course Brothers Gibb. They were firm believers that there are no coincidences, so they were the Bee Gees from then on.
