I still wish I'd been at their 1997 Vegas concert. It's on KZread and I've watched it so many times I practically know it by memory. Thank God their videos will be around forever so others can discover them!

I think I was listening to another song from them that I liked and it brought me to comments for this song. Yes, I love the version where Maurice is doing the no-no-no-no like only he could do it. Without a doubt all the music groups of that time were in tough competition, but the BeeGees kept on keepin' on.

They had a three part harmony smooth as silk like no other groups, composed an awesome catalog of hits for themselves and for others spanning over three decades and different genres, and outlasted all other groups such as The Beatles and The Rolling Stones in their original line up and creation of new material. They were and remain the reigning sentient artists of pop, rock, disco and duets for other artists. Their music indeed stands alone and probably always will.

​@@pipitherawati336 agreed. If one was an aspiring songwriter, then one need look no further than the Bee Gees. So many great songs penned by them, not just for themselves, but others as well and many covers of their songs, as well. Truly prolific.

Granted music evolved what happened to awesome music like this. I grew up watching the Bee Gees grateful to have been able to be a witness to their awesome talent!!

I wish time can be repeated Glory to God, He gave us.

This music never dies

While in college, I worked part time at a radio station. When this song was released, I got so many requests for it that I grew quickly to hate it. I got over it, of course. How could anyone hate one of the most beautiful songs from that era? Brings back great memories although I was never a big Bee Gees fan. I have a low tolerance for Barry's falsetto. I certainly recognise the talent needed for him to pull it off; but sometimes it still grates on my last nerve...lol

So sad to know they'll never sing together again on this earth. They sure left us with many treasures though. The twins left us far too soon.
