Last summer my computer died. I really freaked out because I could not afford to replace it. I make no money at all of this channel as the copyright owners are the one who get it all. Someone suggested I try Go Fund Me and in three days I had enough donations to get a new computer and pay for the retrieval of files. I can't thank them enough for helping me out and now I am back in the swing of things here.
This is my way to thank them, as promised the name of each and every donor will be seen. You all made me so very happy and lifted me up when things were really crappy. I hope I can return the favor.
Here is the one hour version of Bee Gees "Night Fever" I have been teasing. 85% of the respondents to my poll said "DO IT" and the day has finally come to give it to you.
2020 has not been the kindest year I've ever known, so much anger, hate and violence propagated by one particular world leader who is anything but. That regime is on its way out but they are still kicking and screaming about how unfairly they have been treated. What goes around comes around, fool.
For the rest of us, we will picking up the pieces and forging on. We have the strength and intelligence to get through this and the humanity to ensure that we look after each other, even though we have differences of opinion.
So to kick off the party to the countdown, here is a one hour version of Night Fever using the multitracks. Happy New Year! All the best in 2021.

Never stop dancing, dont be shy, i would be the only boy to❤ dance and all the girls in my classroom would join in. Great times when I was in 5-6 grade in 1977/1979.

i think if young people had more music like this to listen to there'd be so many less problems & way less shootings.
I am impressed. Reminds me of the deep-frozen winter of '78. Don't tell the guys from my old neighborhood but I am really enjoying this. What layers of music in here. I wouldn't have believed back then that all these decades later I would have so much respect for the BeeGees. Like anything labeled or considered "Disco" at the time, this group was reviled by many despite their domination of the charts in the late '70s. Maybe the sound just overwhelmed everything so much people quickly tired of it. Music seemed to change so abruptly in 1980-81 to something less, um, velvety? - and rich?

I was born in 81 so I never got to experience the disco days, though I did go to the modern equivalent in the late 90s early 2000s rave scene. It was awesome and fun, and it's that music that gave me my love of disco and funk.

People have a hard time believing that we really were unified for a time, but its so true! In the clubs in the north east everyone danced and partied together, truly all inclusive. Black, white, and brown spoke the same language, wore the same fashions, afros, platforms and bell bottoms. We addressed each other as "brother from another mother, and soul sisters" and there was a mutual respect and appreciation for eachother. The music and environment helped pave the way. Then we danced till dawn together under the disco ball and strobing lights!...it makes it an even greater loss to have experienced this incredible harmony. Dance and remember, always remain hopeful.

We used to have private dancing parties back to the 70's. There wasn't any mixed long version. So when one song was finished playing people would return to their seats and waited for the next one. If this song was played at that time, we should have been exhausted when it was finished. Great to find this wonderful version in the new year day of 2022. Happy new year to all the people and wish you all good health.
Too young for discos, but our school dances after high school football games are some great memories for me. This song plays in a loop inside my head for 40yrs later!

We’d all thought the great blizzard of ’77 was impressive. Then came January of '78 and Mother Nature said, “Hold my margarine!” I have fond memories of the Bee Gees and Fleetwood Mac playing on the radio as my Dad plowed snowbanks that seemed as high as the Himalayas. I’d just received an AM/FM radio with alarm clock from my grandmother for Christmas. It was my first FM radio and suddenly a world of music opened up to me. Every night I’d fall asleep listening to everything from Kansas to Donna Summer. On Saturdays mom would drop us at the roller-rink, where we’d skate to all that great music and play pinball until we dropped. The rink was already on its last legs and didn’t last much past that. I never did learn how to roller-skate backwards like some of the older kids, but at least I got there. Once it closed, all kids had were their Ataris and a handful full of cartridges to keep busy on Saturday afternoons. …and so here I am, an hour later and DJDiscoCat’s NightFever Mix just ended. Wow, already?!?!?!?

Ahhh the Great Blizzard of 77! Sounds like your from my era ! Roller Rinks, FM radio, pin ball and an Atari ! Those were the simple carefree days my friend. In regards to the Blizzard of 77 I remember when the local tv would broadcast all the school closings for the entire week as there was so much friggin snow ! We loved it but I'm sure after awhile our parents couldn't wait for us to get back to school as we were probably driving them nuts being out of school for 6 weeks ! lol When I told my kids about that winter 77-78 they couldn't believe we missed over 35 days of school and didn't have to make up any of it ! Now with climate change, God only knows what the future holds for mankind if the Oil billionaires don't straighten up their acts and listen to the scientists or we may not have to worry about another blizzard ! Heres to the roller rinks, pinball machines, FM radio and the Atari but most of to the music of the 70's and 80's !
