In 1978 when I was 17, this was part of the '70s soundtrack of the years that I really came of age. No one makes music like this that is still relevent today as nearly 50 years ago. The Bee Gees are one of the Superstars of the era. Even today at 63yo, I still play this music over and over again. If only I had a time machine, I would remain in the 1970s and never grow up!😂

I seen a girl dancing to this on the street when me and my friends were downtown bar hopping one night when i was 20. I fell in love immediately. I jumped in and danced with her all night long. It was PURE magic. 8 years going strong. I love you baby. Edit: Okay guys apparently some folks have never heard of paraphrasing before. I took a long story and made it easily digestible without all the little nuances that go into a human interaction. Like I said we were out downtown one night. Bars everywhere, music everywhere, streets closed off for this annual block party. When we first got down I noticed a good sized group of people dancing to a live band in the middle of the street and made a mental note to come back later to check it out. A few hours (and more than a few drinks later) we ended up stumbling back to the "entrance" - if you will. The next hour or something basically consisted of sitting on the curb smoking cigarettes and running into people me and my friend group knew. Out of the corner of my eye I seen this girl dancing with her friends while she was rocking these giant pig tails flailing all over the place, dancing like her life depended on it. I'd look back after each song to see if she was leaving so maybe I could approach her and introduce myself. Fast forward like 20 mins later and they're still going strong lmao. So I said "fuck it", I'm going to make a complete fool out of myself - and just jump in and hope for the best. All the liquor and what not certainly helped my decision-making process in that, I promise you lol. That's why this song will always have a special place in my heart BECAUSE of that moment I decided to make myself look like an idiot (task failed successfully). I was half expecting her friends to get mad but they just kind of left (or they could have been mad, I just don't remember). After it was done I introduced myself, my friends came over laughing hysterically that I actually somehow didn't get slapped in the face and the night just had continued on, turning into a profoundly fond memory. We got a drink after that, considering she had been going for like 30 mins at that point. Went back to the dance floor and rinsed and repeated for a good few hours. We still go to the downtown block party mostly every year unless we're somewhere else in the world. I honestly never realized some people could find this so unbelievable, but I can also put myself in their shoes. Because finding that someone is no easy feat i've found out. I thank the universe everyday for giving me this lucky break that I will never take for granted. You'll find yours some day. It's never too late.

I was in High School and I got to meet a senior when I was a Junior you had to try out to get to be in the A Cappella Choir. I was so excited I got in. She came to me and said "I knew you would make it" we started hanging out before our class began and she taught me to do Falsetto that Barry sang in so many of his songs. We would annoy our classmates singing the higher notes and we were already Sopranos! Bless this band they were 3 hearts of goodness, and pure love.

I LOVE THIS SONG & IT STILL BRINGS TEARS TO MY EYES. MY OLDER SISTER & I WOULD DANCE TO THIS SONG. Our mother was an alcoholic & I’d get hit by my mom the most. My sister would comfort me & she’d play this song & we would dance to this song. Up to this day when I hear it, I still picture my sister & I dancing & brings a smile to my face

I know what you mean sometimes I hear songs from my childhood and I can remember what emotions I felt when that song was a hit! Some good or bad. This song reminds me of the 80’s we loved watching all the good movies this played in the movie short circuit! Yeah I was getting beat around this time too.
