Becky, hi from Becca. This song and the other 70s Bee Gees and similar music 🎶brings back memories of disco dancing at Mothers in downtown Plattsburgh NY 77, 78, & 79. I was barely in my early 20s, stationed at Plattsburgh AFB. Sadly Mothers closed, & the base closed. I would luv to get out on the dance 💃floor and disco some more.

There aren’t many songs that manage to be simultaneously relaxing and energetic. It’s a really strange mix but it puts you in a cool headspace and it makes this track a real stand out in The Bee Gees catalog. Big Empty by Stone Temple Pilots creates a similar emotion for me but it comes from a *totally* different direction.

I want a time machine to go back to the 70's. Coming of age in that decade was magical. Nothing will ever be like the decade; squeezed between the turbulent 60's and start of the greedy fast paced me, me me 80's was a slow, sweet, magical decade filled with the most amazing music from pop to disco to timeless Southern rock. When weed was always organic and a nickel bag was 5 bucks, keg parties, star wars, Farrah hairstyle, A Star Is Born, roller skating, manners and respect to our elders, bike riding, muscle cars, letter jackets, ahhh.....sweet, sweet memories. My heaven is being forever in the 70's. If you missed it, you'll never understand it's magic.

Bee Gees - Night Fever Listen to the ground: there is movement all around There is something goin' down and I can feel it On the waves of the air, there is dancin' out there If it`s somethin' we can share, we can steal it And that sweet city woman, she moves through the light, controlling my mind and my soul. When you reach out for me yeah, and the feelin' is bright, then I get night fever, night fever We know how to do it Gimme that night fever, night fever We know how to show it Here I am, prayin' for this moment to last, livin' on the music so fine, borne on the wind, makin' it mine Night fever, night fever We know how to do it Gimme that night fever, night fever We know how to show it In the heat of our love, don't need no help for us to make it Gimme just enough to take us to the mornin' I got fire in my mind I got higher in my walkin' And I`m glowin' in the dark; I give you warnin' And that sweet city woman, she moves through the light, controlling my mind and my soul. When you reach out for me yeah, and the feelin' is bright then I get night fever, night fever We know how to do it Gimme that night fever, night fever We know how to show it Here I am, prayin' for this moment to last, livin' on the music so fine, borne on the wind, makin' it mine Night fever, night fever We know how to do it Gimme that night fever, night fever We know how to show it
