Liz, let me tell you something! How Deep Is Your Love is one of the greatest songs ever recorded in the history of man! I am a 58-year old black man and everytime I hear this song, I get so emotional! The artistry in this song is impeccable beyond what the mind can comprehend. I am a big musicologist who likes all genres of music, though jazz is first and foremost. I appreciate great music from all walks of life, and when I tell you that this song takes me to Heaven and back, that's exactly what happens. You seem to be a person who is conscious and understands the total meaning of life, and I would like to thank you for being such a beautiful spirit! P.S.: You are also a beautiful person! I was 13 when the bee gees were at there best a long time ago and I'm happy someone as young as you can appreciate how nice they were back then 👍🏻

Thank you for the reaction. If you knew the full extent of what it was like in that era, yes you would give up so much more. What the song doesn't show is the culture back then. Back when men and women danced together to these songs, with respect and dignity, these love songs were like love letters set to music. Everyone danced with everyone, and was fun. Many groups were in love with love itself and it shows on the music back then. Those were the days.

@Starring Karolyn Ruffin we can and still do. Given the option, this would be the only music I would listen to. They bring back memories that still make me smile to this day. No drama, no jealousy, just pure entertainment. Like seeing the new generation listen to our music and look so astonished as to the sheer elegance of the music back then, all vocals almost no technology. Going to listen to some right now! Lol

I was 9 years old when this movie / soundtrack came out. I remember all the songs were on the radio ALL THE TIME. My mom used to play that album all the time back then. We had no idea how legendary that album was. Interesting thing is, I never saw the movie till much later in life because when it came out I was too young to see it. L:OL!

I think you should do the Saturday Night Fever sound Trac. That was the big vehicle that really made the Bee Gees Superstars.

There is no other group like the Bee Gees. I have loved them for 5 decades. Their song catalogue is so deep, and they covered so many genres.of music. They wrote and produced amazing music for other artists. Now Barry has his successful Greenfields album out. He has made brilliant music since he started writing songs at the age of 15. He is still going strong at the age of 74! He is the second most successful songwriter in the history of music. I am glad younger people are discovering their music. I could give you song suggestions that would keep you very busy for months! .

Nice reaction to the Bee Gees. They were just so smooth. Another vintage ballad that I would recommend is The Carpenters: We've Only Just Begun. Personally I think that is their best, and a beautiful song. Some other hugely popular stuff that I would also recommend, if you haven't seen it already: Dimash: SOS. Live on I Am a Singer or Sinful Passion. Live at Sochi. There is a reason he is considered by many to be the best singer in the world, and why you likely get him requested all the time. Marcelito Pomoy: The Prayer. Another rare 1 in a billion talent, that can do things no one else can. Disturbed: The Sound of Silence. Video or Live on Conan O'Brien. An elegant and powerful cover of a folky 60's pop song by a metal band. It should be horrible, but it isn't.

Love the BEE GEES. I notice you love the music and background instruments.....so do I. Mostly I don't listen much to lyrics to after I heard the song a few times. Any way there was another very popular group or dual around the time of the BEE GEE'S called Hall & Oates, Daryl Hall taking main vocalist spot. MY favorite out of many of their hits was "ONE ON ONE" I just love the instruments in this song, and I think you and all of your fan's would as well. I love the sound of the Sax. as well as the other great sounds in this video.
