You are all wrong. The bedrock came because a 2b2t player made a plugin for the server owner that patched nether roof. But it was backdoored, it included a mod that allowed himself and his friends to obtain every item in the game (similar to creative) and more stuff like fly and get coordinates of other players.

Every other server tries to optimize against lag. ProtoTech: "This server is more powerful than our test server, so hopefully this will create enough lag."

@@a_hamburger2957 They dupe shulker shells. They also dupe droppable objects like dragon eggs in their own gravity method. But by standard item duping, they do shulker shells. If they want to try and make a bedrock farm then cool but I don't think many people would care if they duped the bedrock.

Wouldn't work. First of all the save state bug is patched on 2b2t so you could only do it once. Additionally, bedrock is considered an illegal item that gets automatically deleted from any containers it's in so it can't be duped. This is also assuming that none of the plugins break the bug itself.

The hardest block to obtain isn't bedrock but rather command blocks, structure blocks, and barrier blocks since you need backdoors to obtain them at all. You could say water and lava blocks are hard but in a older version creepers could drop water and lava in explosions. They would also drop spawners.

Ghostreaperlord this isn’t a thing that happened last per se. Rays did stream this and Techno would say these phrases often when he sees free kills. I don’t know if his team killed Rays or not, but they probably did (they got over a hundred kills in a 200 player event (people do respawn so he might have killed people twice))

​@@alphaomega471 plugins affect the game in more ways than on the surface, the main thing is optimizations that make redstone almost impossible. Also 2b2t allows hacked clients, which modifies the game even more. Its essentially just as a vanilla of a server as hypixel.

@@err0runknown214 It is a cactus block with an invalid block id which has had the texture removed when viewed as an item. Any Minecraft block with a missing texture has the strange large purple and black missing texture instead. I think he has it just to show off.

An enderman picking it up will make it lose its texture. It will also lose texture if it is stacked with texture-less cacti

The enderman would keep the data of blocks it held so a cactus that grew would have different data and when the enderman picked it up, then you killed it, you would get the cactus with an id of 1, not 0. And there is only a model and texture for 0.

When obsidian farms were first made, everyone joked about a bedrock farm. Turns out we werent joking

On bedrock edition there’s also a way of obtaining bedrock, and it’s super simple but the same concept of tricking the game into thinking you are breaking something else. It also requires lag. You can also obtain portal blocks, and bubble columns in bedrock edition. It’s really cool seeing the Java method!

JustJum yeah I got bedrock in 1.12 too in October and still have 5 stacks today. It changed when 1.13 released but is still playing. I also got the end gateway tiles b4 1.13 as well when the wither destroyed it and dropped the item
