The way James came in and showed Ian the clip took me back the old garage days for some reason. That friends mentality. "Look what I did stupid but for science and we learned something." vibes is what I've been missing. Return to form in the right way.

Ian: First a dislocated arm and now a broken nose, what were you guys doing out there?! James: Science!
James being a chaotic menace was just too funny! "He... He is not braking.... Oh no... JESUS CHRIST JAMES!" The slowly dawning dread of "Oh god I am about to get my boss killed."

So how many Mjölniri are we up to now? There’s the lead one, the tungsten one, the electromagnetic one, the TASER one, the one that starts your car, the giant one, and now this one. That’s 7, unless I forgot one or more.

Charles might be my overall favourite at HI, but James being an absolute spaz at random points in the video absolutely makes this for me.
It's so nice to see James having so much fun after the struggle he went through. I'm myself struggling with mental health issues to see that it can get better is really reassuring. Awesome project guys!

The acceleration on that zipline is aboslutely biblical haha. Considering James sounded like a squeaky dog toy when it first took off - it must have been so fun. Great project HS team!
Honestly I’m just happy to see James this happy after a while.. I remember the video where he admitted of him burning out and I felt really sorry for him….now he seems much better and seems much happy and I just hope the best for James and the entire team!

This video brought me back to the original Batman grappling hook project! Loved this and the nostalgia!
The pure joy I got at 5:00 when he made a chain saw for the zip line XD well... He DID Say "time to make something sketchy"
It’s only just Feb and that’s already the best video this year. James’ reaction is amazing. The world needs more of this.
James happy screaming and peaking the gain on the mic fills me with so much joy
video idea: become the fastest man alive
This is pure Hacksmith, guys - the project is simple but overpowered, well built and functional and just a ton of fun to watch you guys test it out.
17:21 😂 That scream sounded like the guy in home alone screaming when he had the spider on him 😂I laughed so hard
This project easily has to be one of the most fun-focused projects you all have done in a WHILE, I wish I could use it!
Thank you for your videos! I began watching you when I was 11 years old, around 9 years ago. I appreciate your creativity, and I'm always excited when I see that you've uploaded a new video. Your content has brought joy to my life, and I continue to be a dedicated fan. Keep up the great work!
i really love the main idea of this video, the thor part felt a bit shoehorned in though. i really love the zipline ascender though. really cool. (liked it a bit more without the hammer but i love that you guys downsized it to fit)
the Hacksmith is just a giant kid living out all of his fantasies.
It was my childhood dream to create something like this that would allow me to hover instantly in the air, similar to flying like a superhero. This project is incredible! Just watching the video, it looks like so much fun; I cannot imagine how excited I will be to try it in person! Please consider selling these things in your stores; I will definitely buy them!
I need the voices in James' head to whisper to me too

Damn, this is probably your best video so far, especially all of the friendly competition! On a side note, I do have one very good project suggestion, some form of the Mantis Blades from Cyberpunk 2077, they would be pretty hard, but if anyone can make working ones its y'all!
That was definitely one of my favourite projects so far and it seems like you guys really enjoyed it as well
Heck, this was some good stuff! The most intense project you have done in a while! This one REALLY worked out! Concussions and bleeding noses might not be preferable, but they are a damn good statement!
This was an awesome project, looks like a ton of fun. You should keep it going, make a gun that shoots the zipline out and secures itself, and then you pull yourself along with this thing. Gotta get to that Batman level!
hey James I have an idea what if you guys can make a swarm of airsoft bb gun drone's like 20 or 30 drones that works independently just by setting up a command and can attack and identity targets independently It will be a fun thing to have if you where in to airsoft or gelblesters
Love the cinderblock crash mat in the first two thirds of the video!
Awsome zip line, could you build a backpack that can make / shoot it's own zipline? Allso, the Heavy said: "Hahahaha, can I have some more!!? Haha, ha, hehe, can I have some more..."
I know you probably aren’t gonna see this, but just in case you do, I’d love to see y’all make the pile bunker from Armored Core VI. Imagine a spear, with a small explosion that thrusts it forward with immense force.

You should revisit the EDITH ar glasses now that technology has advanced in that space more.
If the original creators of Thor could have known that someday someone would actually become Thor I wonder what they're reactions would have been
Hacksmith: Has giant arsenal of weapons built up over years of work. Charles: Yeah… I think I’ll use a wooden plank.
I kinda want to see one of them have another roller on their feet behind them, making them fly the way he does in movies. I know it's not 100% safe, but maybe something that automatically detatches your feet would be cool.

@@LoganLawrence yeah i searched it up and that's literally the first result, a CNN article that says: "For the first time, scientists have been able to trace the origins of a ghostly subatomic particle that traveled 3.7 billion light-years to Earth. The tiny, high-energy cosmic particle is called a neutrino, and it was found by sensors deep in the Antarctic ice in the IceCube detector. Scientists and observatories around the world were able to trace the neutrino to a galaxy with a supermassive, rapidly spinning black hole at its center, known as a blazar. The galaxy sits to the left of Orion’s shoulder in his constellation and is about 4 billion light-years from Earth."

A lot has happened to James over the years, but it's very exciting to see that he definitely has not lost his fearless attitude for going full-send.
I always love seeing new HI videos, brings so much joy and inspiration to my life! You guys should totally try to revisit the Iron Man flight technology (maybe with the jet engines too?)
This video is straight up dopamine...love the vibes of these guys
This looks like you had a ton of fun with this project. Very fun to watch!

Love this vid, it's as if im hanging out with you guys. Looks a lot of fun.
I feel like James is less of an Iron Man at this point and more of a Thor. 🌩
Looks like you lot had an absolute blast! Thank you for sharing this hilariously dangerous, yet awesome invention! 🧡
At the end you asked for a project idea and i have one that is stupid enough for you to make real: The Gunbreaker Weapon from Final Fantasy 8 and 14. Also: That zipline is just amazing.
Imagine being able to tell your boss "please survive". Awesome work Charles!
The complete hammer, all of the make it reals combined into the TRUE complete hammer with all of the features of the real one. Call it "Making it COMPLETEly real" 😊
"I let the voices in my head guide me" that's totally not terrifying at all, especially coming from James
I hope this video was as gratifying as it appeared the whimsy of James felt like he was having fun. Love the team so glad i bought minisaber you guys are the best.
glad to see everyone having fun.
I love this kind of lunacy. James delivers.
Charles is my favorite Engineer/video host on the team. 😅 He's got the most personality (arguably at least as much if not more than James)!
13:40 Ian is literally flying 😂😂
I was on the edge of my seat for this one!
Good to see so many people excited about a zipline. Zipline-related enthusiasm has gone down over the past decade, so hopefully this bumps those figures right up.
project idea: disability assistance exo suit/limb. - its something real, and marketable as well as cool. you could start with one limb for some one that has for example lost nerve control of single leg or has permanently lost muscle strength in a leg. While various military industries are working on things like this I truly believe the big money is in the medical sector - not the armed forces, and its not just money but all the people that can be helped! Another idea on similar lines would be a much improved version of 'grabbers' used by disabled people that cant bend or kneel to pick things up off the floor. While the current ones enable you to pick things up off the floor, they do not enable you to reach something on a low shelf, particularly at the back of a low or high shelf. Some sort of articulated camera based(to mobile phone?) grabber would be a big seller! Hell if you can manage it, Ill buy 3 of them! one for me, one for my mum and one for my uncle! (im a disabled ex forces, and they are both disabled due to age and illness). Besides.. the way you gents behave - your probably going to need high quality disability aids sooner rather than later! ;)
You could market it as a power lineman travel device to quickly move between towers.
