because writing was bad, as a kid i thought tasm one was good and tasm 2 was good and they are but they are rushed. the fact that harry just randomly comes in at times (like no hints what so ever) the fight with electro were grade a fights, but then bam harry is coming, bam he gets gwen, bam he goes for peter, but that one deleted scene where he actually does damage to him was great. and the whole mr and ms parker fighting on the plane just didnt feel right. if harry was executed right writing was it would have been a highly received movie. we tend to cancel the good when there is bad

I think Tobey Maguire's Spiderman is liked more by older audiences and Andrew & Tom are generally more liked by younger audiences. Tobey is the nerdiest, overlooked as Peter and overall the dweeb that he was in the comics. Andrew is the most relatable (and modern) as a 17 year old, with his quick wit and occasional immaturity. Tom is the best at showing naivety and beginner-ness, though I wish they added his origin scenes. Anyway, all of them are good and you're allowed to like whoever as long as you don't criticize other people's favorite spideys!

The actors all did amazing in their portrayal of Spider-Man. The best though I have to say is Tom Holland. Not because he has been in the most but his character development is the best. Andrew Garfield’s was to childish and comedic. Toby’s was like a teen going through puberty.

I was ok with Tom Holland, but now seeing that he didn’t become spiderman because of the “spider bit” rather then “oh I just feel like helping because why not” makes me not like the Tom Holland spiderman.

@@charlesgrondines7973 literally all their other abilities come from the spider, the only thing they don’t have are the webs. in tom’s case the suits enhance his powers even more. personally the only thing that can explain this is the multiverse and there being different spidermans in all these different timelines. hoping on NWH to expand on that.

Honestly the best and most comic accurate Spiderman was Andrew. Keep in mind I say Spiderman not Peter Parker

After watching no way home, it makes sense why each one of them have differences cause they are from different world. People who complained about tom just being so “modern with the suit” forgot that in a scene when iron man didnt give him the suit he still wins the battle. Tom also potrayed spiderman as teenager perfectly cause originally he is a teenage boy. And there is no point to show how tom transform since people knew the process and watched it for twice. The movie needs to develop the plot so why they have to show it anyway? My fave is tobey but each one of them are great.

Personal opinion. Tobeys version is most acclaimed Spiderman because of the well explained theory of becoming Spiderman. How he gets the power and also the character Arc of Peter Parker. Initial threat and exploration, exploiting it to just win a girl's heart and then has the maturity to be socially responsible Super Hero.
