Let us not say that. Rather he is one of the most knowledgeable among the english speaking scholors. An Egyptian should look for an Egyptian scholor, etc. There are far greater scholors that those of us who only speak English don't know about due to our language barrier.

I highly doubt he would fall for a copycat of the bible. Islam is just another salvation through works religion. Its not unique and it promotes violence. There is no possibility to be muslim, christian and jew without ridiculing 2 scriptures.

I don’t know ab that…the shahada require submission to Muhammad’s prophetic hood. Take a closer look at each time he’s interviewed religious personals on his KZread, he never showed any liking to Muhammed only the ethics on face value of Islam, and on his limited knowledge. He’s showed immense liking to Christianity and also partially to Judaism. Even little bit as well to Hinduism and other non theistic religions

But it seems to me that every religion is in a battle to grab Jordan Peterson so that they can claim him and he’s well aware of that. But he definitely seems to be a big advocate of the Bible and Christianity as his recent videos have shown. And he’s also been bringing up many videos with other religious people just like this one here for his fan base, kinda to show equal representation to them all. After all he may just be trying to learn more about the religions from their ascribed professionals per se

No matter how literate you are, or how philosophical you become, or how you’re able to crack all the psychology in the world. The biggest one to tackle is your own mindset and in that mind, if Allah does not place guidance then you will never find it. Point to note, We are at the hands of Allah’s mercy. Our prophet’s uncle lived and was loved in the prophet’s company, yet he remained an idol worshipper. We can only ask Allah for guidance, ultimately he will give to the chosen ones. Subhan Allah Alhamdulliah Allah hu Akbar.

Yes but Allah gives it to you, if you want it. When you are reaching out, he will guide you. In the holy Quran it says “We will guide those whom want guidance” (sorry if grammar is wrong I’m not English). So if you seek the truth, he will give it to you, otherwise when just the persons he choose become Muslims and others don’t even have a chance, that would be not correct with the concept of free will that you can choose your way (bc. some would think God doesn’t choose me so I’m not a believer) I understood it as the more you search that God will open your heart for Islam so everyone has that potential and He will guide you if He wants (and if you reach out to him for guidance)

Much of what you disagree with Islam about is hadith. Hadith is not something guaranteed to be correct. In fact many hadiths are a bunch of bs. You should never believe bukhari he was a pedophile and evil bastard. He led to the formation of extremism later.

I benefitted so much from Shaykh Hamza Yusuf. I'm indebted to him for teaching me Islam was more than rituals and lip service but had to do with manners, character, sincerity of the heart, and resisting one's ego. I really hope these talks touch Jordan Peterson's heart.

The beauty of ignorance is bliss, but bliss comes to an end when you're desperately lonely in the abyss of ignorance.

Some times smartness is not enough for guidance but only the desire which will bring this forthcoming

No. He didn’t. Islam is similar to Mormonism. A man says he had a vision. Tries to both corrupt and co-opt Gods Word, and claim some lineage of that Word. Except no one but those men testify to what they have seen. They are testifying about themselves. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except thru me.” And many people testify to his words and deeds. Including death on the cross. Islam rejects that. How then can Islam be some sort of successor to that which it has corrupted and rejected?

Jesus said his the way. Not the destination. In moses in time he is the way, islam believe in jesus time he is the way. But in muhammad time (last and final prophet) he is the way until the day of judgement.

As an extra, there is a tremendous amount of teachings by the Church Fathers. The generation or two right after Jesus’s death. Their teaching overwhelmingly supports the Christian understanding of Jesus and the New Testament. And they learned directly from the 12 Disciples and Paul, or from the people that learned under the 12 disciples and Paul.

Mohammed sinned and even didn't know himself if he would get to paradise, he is dead. Jesus never sinned as he is the son of God, he died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead on the 3 day. Healed many people and spoke with wisdom. Why should I follow a dead guy? Obviously it's not Muhammad's (S.A.W) paradise it's God's paradise so we only look towards the mercy of God to let us enter paradise. Muhammad (S.A.W) had high status but he is the messenger of GOD. U have to find GOD obviously today's Muslims follow the teachings of GOD delivered to us by our prophet but U don't have to compare Jesus and Muhammad(S.A.W) if u are talking about Islam...first GOD then prophet.

And by the way, your own book the quran says that you have to believe first in the injil that was brought by the christians and the tora wich came from the Jews. Jesus is alive (in heaven) because he rose from the dead , mohammed by the way is dead. The affect of god is like the wind, you cant see it, but you see the affect on things. Only god or someone with god can perform miracles, rise from the dead and even forgive sin. But those who did create it did so in a gradual process, with clearly close ties to previous religions, and then passed it as divine revelations. Not dissimilar from the religions before and after it. It's not particularly special in that way, just that it could see what *not* to incorporate from previous religions.

Atleast search about it coz u will be asked on the judgement day that u had all resources still u didn't ponder upon Islam and wanted to find True GoD.
