Butthead's expression was always what made laugh the hardest in this scene

The reason why Beavis and Butthead are so f’ing funny is that they use so much tense dropping. At 0:40 you look at Beavis and Butthead and immediately think Butthead is gonna say “that was cool,” there’s a brief pause and then he says it. Call it repetitive sure, but that’s part of the point.

That's the wrong kind of glass for a windshield.

Actually, I was thinking that was really close to how tempered safety glass actually breaks. It fragments into tiny pieces and a polymer layer keeps most of the pieces attached to the frame. It’s far more realistic than I would have expected. 0:40

@@iHawke the idea of safety glass is that its better to have lots of little pieces of glass that will generally only give you small cuts as opposed to say an average house window where it leaves massive shards of glass that could slice you up badly.

@@NoahSpurrier tempered glass isn’t used for windshields. they use laminated glass because it’s much harder to break. prevents theft or accidents from a pebble jumping off the road. if you crash with enough force to be ejected through the windshield it wouldn’t matter how easily the glass shatters, you’ll die just as easily by slamming against the back of whatever structure you just crashed into

When I was 13 when I was taping this episode when it debuted I laughed my ass off

I had this on VHS when I was a kid and I rewound and played this part so many times I wore out the tape. I laughed until I had a headache.
