liked this drive around Beaverton because it lets me look around to see things that I normally do not see when I am driving.

I lived there from 1980-1983 I went to Vose elementary from 4th grade through 6th grade. Both my sisters graduated from Beaverton High School. City sure has changed a lot. We moved to KC Missouri in 83. I miss cheeseburgers at burgerville

i think they tore down Vose Elementary recently. If you see my video at 1hr 50 seconds i drive by where the original use to be.

I’m glad to see Tammies Hobbies and Beaverton Auto Parts (TWGW NAPA) are still off Lombard. Though I am surprised how many trees have been cut down since I lived there. Wasn’t the whole point of the hippies to preserve the trees, and not cut them down?

the camera does not pick up details in low light, is this in the evening, overcast?.... Watching this 20 minutes in is like trying to see Beaverton without lights.. thank you for trying

Beaverton has to be the biggest city I've ever lived in. Now in Orange County, the Suburbia neighborhoods connecting Costa Mesa, Huntington and Fountain Valley aren't this big

Costa Mesa, Fullerton, Orange, and Garden Grove, all have more people than Beaverton individually. Beaverton has about the same population as Mission Viejo. Beaverton is Oregon's 6th largest city, while California has dozens of cities with more than 100K people. Orange County's population is roughly the same as the whole state of Oregon! I was born in Beaverton but grew up in Orange County, I moved back to be closer to my family but I really miss the California weather.

@@AslanKyoya1776 man, I'm Jelly I used to live in the same neighborhood as the Nike Factory near Meadow Park. I was planning on road trippin back for a visit since it's been a while when I came back. Orange County's definitely changed since you left. I moved here right before the pandemic and many changes have taken place since

@@bromontana8100 I wouldn't be surprised, lots has changed here as well. When I was a kid in the 90s, Beaverton felt like a big small town, very idyllic and truly the American dream. Now it feels more like a small city, much more crowded and busy than I remember.

@@AslanKyoya1776 that's the nostalgic pastime I have of beaverton! If you came to visit Huntington beach. The US Open isn't that big anymore. There's still Spectators but it's not as big of an event anymore since the pandemic
