About my work - I remove beaver dams when I receive an order from a state organization.
I do not choose which dam to remove. It is decided by officials at the request of nearby residents. Each dam is assessed in advance if it can and if should be dismantled.
Removing the dam is not a threat to beavers. I do not remove their houses - lodges.
Dams are removed only in places where beavers cause damage, for example by flooding nearby fields, flooding the basements of nearby houses, or when the stream on which beavers built their dam is degraded.
Even though beavers are very invasive animals, they are under strict protection in our country.
I personally like all animals, so beavers are fine too.

Hi from Western Australia, again. 3 dams in one day, is that normal or quite unusual to take down 3 or more dams in a day? Love seeing the Swifts flying and catching insects above the water. During the summer evenings over here Swifts fly low over our sons back garden swimming pool it’s lovely to see. Keep well God Bless.

Hello Lynn 💝💝 In fact, one day we're removing a few beavers dams. Sometimes even a dozen, but not all of them are so big. Sometimes they are small - one move of the excavator arm and the dam disappears. These birds were just swallows. They are very popular in Poland, and they fly away to warmer countries in winter 🙂 Be healthy and Good bless you my friend 💝💝

@@msTECH86 watching that part of the video I see now they are indeed Swallows, black with their white chest. Their behaviour over water is very similar to Swifts.

You realise that if you don't remove the beavers that they will continue to dam up the streams again. By the way I'm sure they thank you for stacking the dam materials close to where they are needed. 😆
I'd like to get a truck load of the silt/grass for the compost pile.

It's good that this job was done by an excavator - not me by hand 😉
You seriously need to learn how a beaver dam is built and how to properly remove one I'll give a little help first you start with reaching as close to the far side as possible then from the top over to the high water side is sticks and mud built up so stop digging on the backside over and over for nothing and open as fast as possible that helps clear any other debris down river
