Beaver dam removal || THE WIDE AND STRONG ONE.
Ғылым және технология
Hey,
Within few months beavers has made wide and strong dam. There was a lot of branches and clay in the structure. The removal was more difficult than I expected.

I like your new shovel. It seems better for the job. Lots of water let loose today. Thank you for the video and I'm sure you'll hit your mark of 50k. 😄👍👍👍👍
That shovel was fantastic. Scoop and mud gone!
Another fantastic dam removal! The beavers appear to be very active. 👍🇬🇧

I like it when you clean out the whole dam and not leave Beavers any starting point for next time at the same place...I enjoy watching your Videos, keep up the good work and enjoy your hobby....I am in Jackson Tennessee USA

A fantastic dismantling of the dam. Water flow is amazing. Thanks for the video and chat today. Your the best, Mantas!
We make a big wish you get many more than 50k subs. Your channel is top class
Another great video, good to see you using new techniques, it worked well. 👏👍💕🍰☕
Excellent job. I like the opening shot with the 2 water levels.
WOW! Didn't realize it was two channels. Those beavers are getting smarter, LOL. The current looked really strong, stay safe and above water
Beautiful job!
I like how wide you made it for most dramatic flow.
Those beavers are excellent architects. Good work on the reverse jenja
Something is causing a back up does to culvert should easily take that floor of water from the broken dam
That is 2 very large piles of sticks and brush. The beaver should be running short on material for dam building sometime soon. You are doing a good job of tearing the dams out.
Amazing job! Your videos bring calmness and relaxation)

Impressive as always, with your determination 50k should be achievable.just keep doing what your doing 👍👍👍😎😎😎
I uee to work for the DEC in New York, This would be a daily project after a big storm. The rain would come off the mountains and slam into a 6 foot culvert. I generally had a piece of thick rope that I'd let go thru as it may, sometimes taking an hour or two, then with a chain on the rope with the help of a block and tackle and a near by tree I could get enough pulled thru for the water to do it's work.
Love what you do to keep fields dry and keeping the beavers busy. Love the drone shots. You love in a beautiful country.

for a brief moment I thought the shovel would rob us of the opportunity to see you do the "mud dance" 😄 . Glad to see the shovel do a great job, but still allow you to dance 😆

Great job! I see you are using a new technique on your dam deconstruction. Keep up with your evolution on technique it seems to be getting better (I'm a arm chair quarterback from California).

You could probably get 50,000 for sure if you wear a beaver costume while clearing.

It looks like a beaver dam boneyard all around the culverts. By the way, watching the stick removal is my favorite part, it is like you are tearing apart a puzzle.
Keep 'em coming!
I like your overall technique/approach to the dam removals.
..great work, nice job...
That was awesome! Although you didn't get it all you removed a very large amount of it. I love that you got a shovel. It seemed to work well with the soft mud and faster than using your feet. That was very satisfying to watch. You should feel great about the job you did!

Letting go it drain and then clearing up some of the mud would keep it flowing. Great work as always and good luck to 50k subs.
Your videos look so much fun. And you speak English very well.
Keep up the great work. Geros dienos!
Great work 😎
Hi from uk my frien👋👍 great job taking this one down and with deep channel cut down in middle should drain a good bit of the land (funny how the beavers made dam there rather than blocking culvert tho not like them miss a opportunity lije a culvert 🤔 but good luck on 50k subscribers we're in it togother with you👍 thanks for your time and be safe see you soon👍👋

i love it/you man!! i used to do that when i was a kid, but the ''river'' was just the size of my rubber boots :D. now, i smoke a dooby, relaxing on that river release, awesome! wishing everybody a nice day, evening.. u know ;)
I’d love to see someone remove a dam with a grappling hook and tow rope. It maybe a short video but it would be fun.
Now you are taking on bigger dams you need to take a few safety precautions. If you fall down and the water fills your waders you will have a hard time fighting your way out. A knife could cut the straps or put a hole in them. Also a life ring would be a way to save your life if you were pulled under. Tie a rope around it so you could draw it to you and still have the ring out of your work area. Just a though Dad. The small ones were ok but the lager ones can become more than you can handle especially by your self.

Kind of surprised they didn't block the culverts...sometimes beavers will actually try and plug the culvert pipes to prevent additional flow...keep an eye on this spot just in case...
Another great video. I have no idea why myself and other people find beaver dam busting so awesome, but I can't stop watching. I love it from Maryville, Tennessee, USA. Keep them coming!

12:30 - Is that a separate canal coming in to the far side of the dammed pond? Yes, 25:53 makes it clear, 22:20 - Yep, looks like 50cm to me, too.
I've never seen footage of beavers building a dam. They seem to do it very quickly and it would be good to see!

Hi from UK. tell me do your farmers help when you have cleared the dams by removing branches and rubbish or do they ,leave it there for beaver reuse.love watching you work but is it only a winters job you have take care.
Beavers just don't recycle. They only use fresh sticks. They ignore the old material.

We can't burn. You can get penalty for doing it :)
Judging by the amount of building material on the banks of the canal - this is not the first time this dam is being removed.

I made video how beavers rebuilt the dam. Check my previous videos I think from the last years. ;)
I sure beavers reak havoc where you have flat land. We have a lot of beavers here in eastern US but it's hliiy where I live so they don't affect much.
Beavers work so good together, they don’t need no blueprints or someone standing over them, they just get the job done and build something strong... why can’t our government do the same? Maybe they need to take some samples from the beavers, lol
Please be careful that water was pushing you.
take a file or grinder to the edge of the shovel and will work a lot better.

Another dam bites the dust.
Beaver dam takedowns have become my relaxing video niche of choice but now I wonder if there’s some other segment of KZread of people downstream from these dams asking “where did all this damn water come from?!?”

I fought with a family of beavers from the age of 10-16, trapped them, came back, destroyed their 18ft high damn multiple times until finally bringing in a 30-ton machine, ended up flooding 3 subdivisions. Pond was so big you used to be able to see it from space.

Those animals are really facinating. I do not like them, because they make some forest rivers impossible to travel or fishing. But still. Impressive.
Funny that the beavers don't try to block the culverts (as they all seem to do in Post10's video's) What are your thoughts of that?
There are 2 culverts but only 1 shows light thru it. Is the second one not flowing? Can you explain?

In other one was some sand, it not the same depth.
If Lithuania is like the US the wheat was planted before winter and is now coming to life. It allows farmers to plant corn after it's harvested.
@Kenislovas

Yes. Sometimes plants are planting in Autumn and sometimes in Spring actually right now :)
I removed beaver dams while working for Forestry Dept, it's hard and dirty work and i found a better method, i attended a few courses and earned my Blasting License, only a little work and a lot of fun, nothing quite like pushing the button and hearing the boom.
Nice job . But why not put fire on it ? More easy
@Kenislovas
2 жыл бұрын
Not allowed in my country. It's dangerous too.
This seems like a problematic area with all of the branches on the side of the river between the beaver dam and the culverts. Do beavers reuse branches which have been removed from previous dams ?
@Kenislovas
2 жыл бұрын
Mostly not. I guess 30% of branches reuse and rest not.
