Beaver dam removal || How much it will drain within 40 minutes?
Ғылым және технология
Hi!
I've spent here 40 minutes. Surprisingly there was not a lot of wood sticks like previous time. Mud was main part of the structure there. During warm day after removal I was all sweat. And I've find TICK on my pants. Lucky it was not on my skin.
Be part of my future project or support. Thank You very much!

Thank you for reminding everyone that ticks are a menace.

The dam was built bh a sub species of beaver called Castor Lazyassicus

Funny
I love that you use a shovel to make it harder on the beavers
The large pieces of mud that were dug out were amazing. You are one of the best .
Hello Mantas I hope you enjoy this work as much as I do watching you❤️ Beautiful Spring day where you are, thank you 🌞🌳🍀
Good job. Like it when big chunks go down stream. Materials beavers won't be using again!
Well as you said "it's a first". You encountered a group of Beavers that attended the 'Recycling Lecturer' at the neighbouring Lodge. 🤣😂🤣 It really is amazing that the beavers can rebuild such a large dam in just a week. It also proves the amount of back-up water that one dam can hold back, in such a short time. A good video to watch. Excellent! 👍🇬🇧
Thanks for Another Great Video From Blue In England
Greetings from the BIG SKY. I've seen a white sheet dragged over bushes around Missoula, Mt and the number of ticks present would shock most people.

Hey!
Good of you to check on already opened dams, beavers can be very fast in rebuilding, as you know of course. Nice cleaning!!
An old remedy for beavers I learned from my grandfather was to pee on the sticks next to the dam. If you do that repeatedly for a few weeks the beavers will start to move away. Has something to do with the ammonia in human urine.
another great video. rea lly loved how you made a big part of it collapse at the same time. although the dam removal with an excavator is cool in other videos, i really like to see the manual ones. keep them coming!
Hey Papa. We had (5c) for a few days now, and Frost a couple of nights ago. Today it is (+9c) a little warmer, but not by much. Interesting that the beavers used old material, I guess beavers understand the concept of expediency !! They don't have to expend energy creating new material, they can use the stuff you left on the banks from the earlier clearing.
A great clearing today, Mantas! Thank you. 😊
People we should push like button to get more content 😊
Another beaver dam gone ! great job 👍
I am imagining the beavers surrounding the war table….trying to come up with a plan to defeat you 😂
Love the way you took the dam out Mantas, hopefully the beaver's will not be back, but time will tell. Surprised that the beaver's used old stick's to rebuild the dam again, thanks for the video as always, till next time, David, Utah,USA.♥♥♥.
I just love your videos. I have asked you questions in the past and just want you to know that when I ask it is purely to know exactly why you do something, not to criticize like I have seen some people do. I want to be educated/ Thank you.
It would be interesting if you had a pole with centimeter marks on it that you put in the water above the dam and mark with the original water level. I think people like to watch these for "progression" (like the lawn mowing videos) and that would add another thing for them to see change.

If you look at the pond in the back you can see the wet grass and the muddy bank, shows you how much the water has dropped.
Your first beaver dam constructed by lazy beavers. Or they may be recyclers. Thanks for the videos
this is the 1st video i've seen of reused material. i've watched some from different areas in the USA & not seen any with reused material.
Greetings from the BIG SKY. I think I'd have my spinning rod with me around many of those dams. Around here brook trouts like living behind beaver dams on the Smith River that I've found.
Thanks Mantas, great job. 👍👍😊😎
Cool video.
Even the beavers are conserving the forrest😂😂😂😂😂
Busy lil beavers! Great Job . big current
Industrious little buggers. 😉
You might want to look for tunnels around the left side of that dam (looking upstream). Looks abit like a beaver lodge.
Good job! That looks very tiring!!!
One of your better videos. Got to see some of what the undertow brings up.
Maybe if you took the whole dam out it would take them longer to build it back again 😮
Excellent
Thanks!
How come we didn't get any aerial photography?
You seemed to use a different technique this time. You didn't attack the dam at its base to undermine it and cause it to roll over in a spectacular collapse. Instead, you attacked it from the top. Was there a strategic reason for this?
Great video. How long did it take the beavers to rebuild that dam?

Yeah... blood sucking it's a shame!
Just putting the branches twigs to the side they are going to rebuild a dam
Those burgers were fast, time to start trapping them.
Where are you located? I really love watching you unclog streams!

I have a dovetail matchbox
Looks like they built the dam of mostly mud and grass. They added the old sticks on top to intimidate you. They had a good laugh, but you had the last laugh.
Recycle, reuse these are eco- friendly beavers!
I always thought that you leave the material 5 feet away they got right there to rebuild

Beavers easy can get new material, so it doesn't matter;)
Apparently you need to teach this colony that these sticks don't work!
Why not burn the debris once its dried yo prevent a buildup or reuse?
is there a reason you have't trapped them?
Why not burn the old material?
Have you ever fell in with the force of the water 💦

Nope :)
Why not burn the dry wood up why your tearing the dam apart

Not allowed…
Hopefully the beavers don’t learn how to use concrete lol
Interesting never seen that before on the sticks.good job your killing it.just keep doing what your doing.kudos 😎😎😎👍👍👍🦫🦫🦫
Wonder if their is a “Beaver in Chief” who gives orders to the other beavers as to what to do and where? 🦫👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅✅✅✅✅
