This is my first time doing my nails. I went to Sally’s and bought a kit that was recommended by the employee. I bought this kit and came home, went to KZread and just watched your video. I wish I would’ve known about quicker with the dip kit. I even asked the girl working there but she still recommend this one. I’m about to give it a go and copy exactly what you did lol. I'm getting prepared to take the state exam for professionals. We have to use an odorless kit. Your video is good for novice and professionals. I get to see what is in the kit before I buy it. Also I get a consumer review before using it in a salon. Dehydrator goes before the primer. Also if you gently buff the tips and smooth them into the natural nail before you start the acrylic, it helps. Don't buff the natural nails hard. You only want to remove the shine on natural nails.

Ur nails are beautiful... Not sure how long they last though... When u dip ur brush in monomer and wipe it off, u turn ur brush and dip the side that WASNT wiped off, so u can pick up more of the powder!! Ur Apex could've been built up a little bit more also.... Their are MILLIONS of KZread tutorials about doing fullsets... In ur spare time, check em out... Their really cool! Beginner friendly, also!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!!

So I tried it out and I am not sure if I’m doing it wrong, but the powder ball doesn’t go on super thick. It’s still very liquidy and I have to apply multiple layers and it takes forever to dry. I might be leaving too much liquid on the brush when I dip it into the powder I’m not sure but I’m horrible at it. I thought the ball would apply thicker. I am curious to try out the dip powder kit as you mentioned, I think that might be easier and quicker for me.

Yes, it does sound like too much liquid on the brush. Just gotta practice. I'm still not that good at it either. I do find the dip kits easier though! I like Revel nails at the moment.

1) I'm using the kit nails instead of purple nails. and when I put the pink acrylic powder on my nails and let it dry, its see through and I can see the ugliness of where I glued on the nail extension :( lame. 2)Also, on another note: I'm holding my brush in the pink acrylic like you are and I'm not getting the same ball. What am i doing wrong? 3)If you dont buff your nails, will it not be shiny? I tried using 100 grit to smooth out the nail last night and then when I applied polish, it just looked fat and gross, and the polish was kind of streaky. Would you recommend putting a clear top coat on before nail polish?

They lasted me a Couple weeks but I like the dip kit better. So fast and easy!

I work at Sally’s and my co worker got this one and she said to just get a brush separately but yes I wanna get the acrylic powder separately 😭

It bugs me that you keep showing the finished nails before you actually reveal them. Its like a movie spoiler.
