Sunscreen is by far one of the most important products in your skincare routine but for people with medium to dark skin complexions, it can be one of the most difficult ones to find. On this episode of Sunscreen for Dark Skin, we are putting *Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun Rice + Probiotics SPF 50+ PA++++* to the test to see if it's Black Girl Approved. If you missed the last episode, I will link it in the cards above. Make sure that you're subscribed and click that notification bell so you get updated every time we put another SPF in the hot seat.

I discovered this sunscreen a year ago now and it has been life changing. I actually enjoy putting sunscreen on now. It also doesn't leave a tint or caste on me. I'm not sure if they have mentioned anythng for this being reef safe. It isn't really mineral or typical chemical so I'm not sure how to find this

Yay! Yes its surprisingly really good. And Form what I've seen it is a chemical sunscreen. I checked the ingredients on the website, on CosDNA and Incidecoder. Thanks for sharing! 🤍

I’ve gone through 3 tubes of this sunscreen. The only time pilling happens is when I’ve gone heavier with my skin care, and sometimes it’s difficult to get it to blend around the hairline, imo anyway. 💕

3 tubes! Happy to hear you're enjoying it as well. And yes I think it really depends on what you're applying underneath. This one needs lighter skincare. Thanks for sharing 💕

The sunscreen feels pleasant and has nice filters. It does leave a slight whitecast on my skin and it is a bit too glowy for me. I do think you need to use more product though, you use 2 fingers, which is about 0.8 grams or 400cm2, thats enough for just the face, but since you use both hands to rub it out, and also rub it on your neck, of that 0.8 g (intended for just the face), quite some will be lost on the hands and neck.

I’m happy to hear that you like it as well. And absolutely sunscreen should be on those areas as well. Personally I have a dedicated hand sunscreen and body sunscreen for those areas so I don’t include it. But you definitely can. Thanks for watching ❤
