Nice design. The bathroom is cute and like you I can’t go without a bathroom.

I love your bus home, the look is NOT cluttered, it looks clean! So many other bus/van conversions and tiny homes look so tacky and cluttered but conversions like yours actually makes one think that life in a small space is actually livable in a positive sense! 👍

Such a nice couple. It looked to be very sensible in their build. Wishing them nothing but good luck and smooth travels.

Love the serendipitous shower! The bungie and cleat cupboard closures are awesome. , Looks like most of your dishes are Corel, those are the best choice for traveling. They are light weight and super tough to break and you get to eat from real plates. It's very pleasant to hear you giving kudos and gratitude to those who helped with the build. Inkdraft yes they are Corel dishes! I’ve had them for almost 10 years and only chipped one plate in that time. Thanks and good luck with your build!

To prevent mold, lift it off the frame once a week. Or paint the inside frame with mold resistant paint. Works just as well.

the faucet ( UK tap ) in the sink being able to swivel out of the window and become a shower , amazing . also amazing , your parents contribution , graet interior .

I love watching the innovative ideas so many folks come up with but you two are the best. Most of your concepts are in line with "KISS" Keep it simple stupid. So much better in the long run. Your roof deck I would incorporate on the conversion of mine for sure. It is awesome and has so many uses as you described. Your bus is just the right size and length. One of the things I so love about these transformations of space is how much the young couple's Mom's and Dad's contribute! Shout out to the awesome Moms and Dads!

I really like this one! A short bus with all that you need that's if they have A/C or fans for that heat. The little bathroom is great it would be a must for me too. The blue/turquoise is pretty with the white.. clean and bright.. it seems like they have everything they need with utilizing that little space to a T. Super cute!

This is one of the prettiest and most practical builds you have shown. The dock cleats make perfect drawer and door pulls. I absolutely love the little drummer sculpture.

@@StuTheBus SAFETY ALERT! Hi! Did u see comment re the NOISE SWITCH? A bus driver says they are mandated to stop at train tracks, flip that switch so everything goes off, open driver window & the door to listen for a train before proceedingbcs it's hard to hear from inside the bus. I think you should look into it. 🔹 BEAUTIFUL BUS! Great use of space. Nice separate bathroom [ would be Wet Room for me, no sliding toilet😁] I love your personalities as you did the tour. May the Lord surround you with His Angels wherever you go! Safe Travels. God Bless!

Meant to mention this the other day but you really need to get a cover for your spare tire or when you need it most you will find the the sun has eaten it alive! Another thing is you can look at some boats to see how they incorporate a shower/toilet area. Outstanding job on the conversion.

Cool van, nice conversion. The cupboard doors would look nice painted white inside. Mom and Dad made a nice job, big up!

I’m still on the outside looking in for van life, but I love that there are larger fridge/freezers like the one you have. All the other ones I have seen have been so small that there is no way they would suit my needs. I really like your layout, but I really like my showers, so I would need that in the mix. Wishing you all the very best travels and that Stu behaves himself on the road.

Stu reminds me of the tent in Harry Potter where the size looks small on the outside, but when you enter you are welcomed with much more space than anticipated. This was clearly a labor of love with the help you received from mom and dad. You did great on your layout. WTG... Cheers 😊

Those boat cleat for handle with the bungee are GENIUS !.......love your build !

We have a 2004 power stroke 6.0 pickup. We didn’t know about all the negative hype either. It has 126 K, it runs strong, no problems but we can’t sell it , crazy. I love your bus, you have done an excellent job.

Look into the white fiberglass Shuttle buses. They have heat and air-conditioning and sell for $5,000 and up.

I lived in Houston for 3 years, I needed A/C and three showers a day! Plus a shotgun for the mosquitoes.

If more power they could install a very small ac above the fridge. Or have a couple of fans in the ceiling installed to circulate air and put up screens.

I love the tour! Not that I don't want to point out all the great features, but I got really excited when I saw the *mini drums* by the dashboard. Love Stu and this chill couple. Also, wonderful they have great family support. Keep on Truckin'.

The yellow active noise button is for when school buses have to stop at railroad tracks. It makes it so that it mutes all noise in the bus; like it stops the radio and the fans and everything so that you can listen for train horns.

Great Bus! Nice exterior and interior colors. Go Chevrolet and GMC! 405,000 miles and No Drivetrain Problems! Biggest fix was rusted brake lines and one wheel bearing. I'm going to put up a roof rack with a black rubber water bag for warm water showering. A galvanized water trough in the corner with a shower curtain ring and a hand held shower head and you are in business. The freezer was a good idea which I will use! I'm going to install a fold down rear deck with an awning.

Sounds good! I saw a build with a fold down rear deck, plus a solid fold-up rear awning, same size, "stacked" together when closed. Opened the awning first, then could fold down the deck (using a cheap Harbor Freight electric winch for the deck, with some steel cables w/ turnbuckles to get it square and solid). With optional bug netting they had a nice deck/porch out back.

Great idea for the shower so you don’t have to use the water heater. But for colder weather I would make it so it could switch to the water from the water heater. First time I have heard of that. 💚

I love their layout and they’re thinking when they designed this bus. I especially like just the toilet room, they gave up the shower which would’ve taken more room but they have the nice toilet room which I think is very smart. Hope you’re still having fun out there.🙏🏻🙏🏻

U guys are so cool & your living in a very cool bus. That kitchen faucet is awesome! It’s on my wish list now. Luv the turquoise & white colors. I have the same sml chest freezer & they do hold a lot. I use it as an xtra freezer but I’ve seen other schoolies that use em as a fridge

Agree regarding tire rubber exposed to constant sun...don't want blowout of spare tire due to sun.

Yup, sun and heat will dry out the rubber and crack it....when you go to put it on you risk a very quick blowout. I learned to even cover the sides of my trailer tires when parked in CA

I don't know about the outside of a vehicle but I would imagine if you put some type of paint sealer over the paint on the exterior it might keep it from chipping.
