Listening to this music makes tears flow from my eyes. I was saved at 12 years old, now I’m 88. Wasted so many years not being the witness I should have been. Anyone reading this, please give Jesus a chance to come into your heart and make you a new creature in Christ. You will no longer be a slave to sin. Know He will forgive all your sins and give you the assurance of eternal life and entrance in the Kingdom of Heaven when you pass from this life.

Seek out Christians. The Prophet Elijah at one point said that they have killed all the prophets and GOD said I have preserved 100 prophets. Don't dispare. I put Christian stickers on my car so other Christians can see that they are not alone. Let people know that you are a Christian and you may be surprised about how many Christians there are who have not identified themselves as such.

How Great Thy Art, means so much to me. I suffer from Fibromyalgia daily, and I spend a lot of time in bed. I also suffered a severe stroke coming 2 years on the 17th August, it was very hard, but my faith in Jesus gas brought me to where I am today. Still more recovering to do but, One Day At A time, my God is Faithful. He can and he will. In his own correct time.x

To make a long story short Jesus set me Free I'm 3 years old going on for

Two of my children were baptized in a Lutheran church with my cousin a Roman Catholic priest participating which took a "Papal" OK /blessing. I just felt I had to do this. God bless the clergy who believed in my sincere belief. Pastor Bruce and my cousin the jesuit Priest John. King. People we are all one. I pray for all . God bless all who helped this happen.

I'm 84 raised going to Sunday School wherever we lived & there was a Church close enuf for me & my younger sisters to walk. Any church. Baptized age 11 with myom 1949. As teenager I forgot (but not deep down, raise up a child rite & when he is old he WILL return. And so I have. Baptized this past July 16, 2023, age 83. Have Church Family now. Wonder of my life is that Jesus was ALWAYS with me, whether I knew it or not. Mostly not, forgiven I am & BELIEVE . Might say I had "near death experience" without loosing conscience ! 🌲Whatever wherever however he leads me I'll go. BELIEVE, hold onto your expectancy which IS "HOPE" with FAITH. As Jesus lived when he came at Christmas. Love is a verb. So is forgiveness. 🌲

I’m 25 in Indiana & SO blessed to have an old fashioned, God fearing, Bible believing little church. Im grateful I’m able to pass these melodies down to my children. They’re imprinted on my heart alongside His word. I get teary listening to this album on the way to/from dropping kids off at school. I pray they remember our mornings as a peaceful time w the Lord.

God is my Saviour, he has Blessed me with his kindness. God will heal me of my pains and suffering. I know one day God will call for me and reunite me with my Family, Mum, Dad and my Brothers Sandy and John. I miss my family terribly. I was born in Ukraine into a Christian family. This was a time when the church was persecuted. Now that I have lived in the States for nineteen years and listened to these beautiful Christian hymns in English, I understand how much they had in common. I remember many of these melodies from childhood and tears come to my eyes. We are all sons of our heavenly Father!

Jesus is the answers of all the problems we have had.we started them ourselves.

I started singing gospel songs snice I was a child growing up to be a young lady and I am still growing up to still have god first because we all need Jesus and his loving touch of his holy grace with be peace on this earth as whole again we at some point of having God that is all mighty and strong he can make a way if there is no other way to get to the other side of Road that we put our love in our faith in Gods of his only son that died for our sins to forgive those are needing or trying to get a roof above their heads how all of us to be in Gods house we should be not feel or know what we all know how in this world how Jesus Gods only son who put us in his head when they put the crowns of thrones on him to save us all of being where he was going to stand with bye his right side of love that can found

I needed this wonderful time, today would have been my sons 50th birthday, my daughter would have been 53 and my husband would have been 75 today. I lost my whole family, they are with our LORD,

These songs reminds me of my Beautiful Mother who brought me to church. She is now in Heaven. Thank God for her faith. I miss her dearly.

Such precious refreshing reminders of the church of Christ when we really reverenced God and took our walk with him seriously. I know you and your family have been through so much pain and sorrel but there is a day coming where there will not be any more pain and or sorrel just beautiful music and I hope and pray that you Allen will be one up in heaven playing this wonderful beautiful music. My mother is 98 years old and the Lord is calling her home. Her favorite hymn is Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus. I played Alan Jackson's beautiful rendition. It calmed her and she was able to sing with him on the chorus, even as she struggles to breathe. THANK YOU ALAN JACKSON!!!

I love the song Turn Your Eyes on Jesus. Had never heard it before I bought this cd. Beautiful words. It is in the hymnal at church, but has a different meter.I love this rendering. ❤😊

Love 💕 this collection of glorious hymns. I didn't move from my seat through all the hymns. I sang along with them, remembering a lot of precious memories. There was only three selections that I didn't know all the words to. I am 71 years old and I grew up on these hymns. They are especially comforting when I am having a down day. I put the ear buds in and close out everything else and absorb all the words. So beautiful.

The love of God remains forever.

At 1:29 this morning my 89 year old mom woke up in Jesus arms. I'm broken. These songs mean so much especially today.

Have been a believer in Jesus since 1978. Called to preach in 1988. Never encountered a person on their deathbed regretting knowing Jesus. Never heard one say " i wish i had spent more time at the office." Or " wish i had more money in the bank". Or " spent more time at the bar". God and people are eternal. Reconcilliation is at God's heart. People to God; people to people.

very much inspiring hymnal songs! may the listener will remember the goodness of GOD in their lives!God's goodness reveal to those who really submit God's well!

I love Jesus and gospel music

Floods of tears have come ...in time of grief once again...I need this music to allow me to feel. So "old fashioned' but so profound. Guess my neighbors should be thankful I do not have a keyboard ! Did not realize I knew all these hymns by heart. Although a pastor that I admired told me once I "had dropped the ball" with my family, I know I did in ways....but it was complicated. I tried but still to this day...am alone in my faith. Two of my children were baptized in a multi faith way because I believed in that...it was not easy...but I felt that united Lutherans and Catholics was important to my beliefs. It happened. I dearly loved people from both faiths. Guess that covered all bases..both those beautiful children have died. My beautiful children...but they have gone to heaven with a bit of "a first". My faith is growing as I age. ...no matter who makes light of my beliefs.

Old Gospel Hymns are so uplifting and inspiring, I so loved singing it. Oldies but so goodies,our God be praised, sacred hymns are never outmoded.

Thanks Allen Jackson for this CD of beautiful gospel hymns. Im 48 yrs old and I just got saved four months ago and I got baptized on March 10th and im a recovery addict of drug and alcohol who is going through Year and a half of mine sobriety and coming Oct 3rd 2024 will be two years in my sobriety. When I was a little girl growing up with Grandma who passed away four years ago at age 97 me and Grandma would always listen to these old gospel songs on her record player all the time. So these old gospel songs are my old time favorites, so when god change my life around when I heard amazing Grace I now know that I'm worthy of God grace and mercy and he forgiven me and that shows proof that God is always there and around to make miracles happen and I'm living proof of God's strength and peace in me who saved my life and that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins and now im a Christian woman and I now live my life for God, praise God Amen ❤️

I'm listening to these Spiritual songs bring healing to my heart. My sister passed away on March 23rd. Thank you for your Spiritual songs that always dwell in my heart. Blessings and Prayers for everyone.

These hymns connect me back to my youth before I sadly fell into the temptation young adults do. Now I am 62 dying of melanoma, dwelling constantly on my sins. This world is such a mess now. I hang on to God's Mercy. God bless everyone.

1970 my real mother, Grace passed away at the age of 24. I remember everything from that day. They sang Amazing Grace, and I think of her young life of that time. I'm 57 now and lost two sets of parents ❤ I miss and think of them always ❤🙏💖 thank you Lord for another day Amen 🙏 ❤️‍🔥

Praise the lord. He gave us Alan Jackson for a reason

Brings back such great memories of family, friends and church family!!! So very thankful my mom knew we needed it n r lives!

How great is the good news, that our savior Jesus Christ had died on the cross for our sins? Praise glory to our Lord Jesus Christ that he did this for us! John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. I trust & believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and risen on the third day.

Sitting here with my Aunt who is terminally ill with cancer and doesn't have much time left. Listening to Alan Jackson gospel music even though he is gone now. I love his music and I hope it is comforting her. God bless them both.

I'm sitting by my mother in the hospital waiting for her to die. She has advanced dementia and cannot communitcate, but listening to these old hymns has helped calm her and she has tried to hum or sing along. She can't speak and doesn't know anyone, but she knows these songs of Jesus from her youth. What comfort for all of us!

So blessed to be able to listen to these amazing hymns. I've nothing to fear because I'm leaning on God's everlasting arms.💪 💖🙏🙏

Alan Jackson has a beautiful voice, but what I love best about this album is that he sings these blessed songs with quiet humility, no excessive styling or showcasing his range. He keeps the focus on the inspiring words.

Oh wow! All the songs we sang in our little church when our family was growing up. There were 12 kids (8 living in the house at anytime). My mother made us all sing at every church get together until finally we were often requested to sing. I learned to play the piano and became the church pianist after my sister married and moved away. Learned saxophone and some guitar. All that to say to those who do those things now: Keep doing it without fail because you really do lose what you what you don’t use. I’ll forever regret that I stopped. It will never be the same after so many years. Stay with it even if you get disheartened!!!

My heart goes out to you. My mom had moved in with me and my husband and she was in her 90s. She never complained about herself until months later. So we took her to the nearest hospital and she got diagnosed with Colin cancer. We lost her months after. I still miss her dearly. I don't know you, but you will be in my prayers.

God is good and I am so glad to say I know when my name is called I be there I lost my mom when I was 17 years old and at one time I didn't believe in Jesus r heaven or hell bit now I can tell u what God done for me he help me get off of drugs and he save me from killing myself God is so good just trust in him he will be there for u

I love these songs I remember my mama cooking or cleaning and singing these beautiful songs and to my daddy listening to her sing I can't help but crying and wishing I could go back even if it's only for a few minutes but at least I can go back in my heart and knowing one day I'll able to sing with them again. I miss y'all so much but I hope y'all know I love y'all ,mama daddy James Bea and John and I pray one day soon I'll see all again
