Jeez, they were great weren't they? I didn't really appreciate some bands at the time and The Beautiful South are deffo one.

25 yrs later and Paul and Jacqui are still going strong. Pity that the entire group isn't there though. Can't believe Hammy and Alison tried to use the name after the group broke up.

now he has freed himself and together with Phil Barton he founded his own new band, Sunbirds, which is about to release his 1st album. He keeps his voice and talent and shows that he can continue singing. May it be realized in this new work and the public will continue to appreciate it 😊

Alison and a handful of the others plus some new people carry on as The South, appearing at many festivals each year performing the band's songs. Even though most of the line-up only have a slight connection to the original band now.

Yes the video tape and it deteriorated further being transferred to DVD from video tape.
