I think these boxes have a lot of potential especially with only a 9k/box print run... I do wish it was a better year for the rookies but I would still want to pick up a box or two of this, 1 to open and 1 to save to see if any of these rookies break through into superstars in the coming years. @@joeylackey2486 MVP should be renamed to BSA - best season award. Trout won it doing nothing but accomplishing personal stats and sho same. Atleast Vlad and Simien tore up the season keeping them in playoff contention all year long. Angels even w Trout healthy prob be where they are.

I haven't seen the movie 'Sandlot' or anything about it in years, but this was the third clip or reference to it that ive seen today. Very weird. Lol. I still feel Vladi deserves the MVP. As of the other day, he was leading the AL in nineteen different offensive categories. I agree that what Ohtani is doing is phenomenal. And he's playing quite well, but he's not dominating the stats, pitching or hitting like Vladimir is. Yeah, he's up there in home runs, but other that that he leads in intentional walks. But he also leads in times caught stealing and is third in the AL in strikeouts(batting). If he does the same thing next year and the year after that, is he gonna deserve it every year? I dont know, i guess a case could be made for both players. They both tear it up.👍

The word prism always has an S. Panini made up their own word for their Prizm line, but that is the oddity, not Topps spelling it the normal way.

@@luke1jones yes I know. But a lot of hobbyist, especially ones who collect the 3 major sports always get the terms mixed up for parallels/prizm’s/refractors. Hell Phil called the Prism style cards “Hyper’s” which is def a Panini term, or lots call baseball card refractors “Holo’s”

I genuinely cannot stand the hobby at this point. I'm a fully grown adult living in a major city and it's literally impossible for me to get MLB or NHL cards. Everything is so expensive and these companies like Topps and Upper Deck just keep pumping out expensive crap.

Ohtani may pitch but he doesn’t pitch well… he only pitched against bad teams and everytime he is lined up to face a good team he skips and if he does start he gets absolutely Fucking shelled. He’s not a good pitcher. Vlad for MVP.
