Hi. I have watched and admired your channel for a couple of months now. I live in the UK and will be setting up a Malawi and Victoria Peacock and Hap tank in the next couple of months. And thank you so much :) I'm glad you enjoyed seeing the show, I was definitely very lucky that the Pet Show was kind enough to organise coming in the day early since I couldn't make it for the weekend because of my flight to the US. I'm soooo glad I got to see it this year in Brisbane!

Thanks for the tour Kaity, so sad i dont get to see shows like this near me, altho maybe my wallet is happy i dont :) In the bit where you wer etalking about the little stand for the test kit vials, i just use a bit of cut filter foam you can easily ut little holes to hold the vials plus dont need to worry about spills. Safe trip to USA!

This reminded me of the 1st time you had someone doing the filming for you and I don't remember if it was @ this event or something similar , and it seems like it was 2 years ago but my memory was a bit better not that long ago but I think it's great to see you front and center wherever you are. Hopefully it will be a huge turnout for the show this weekend and I think it's pretty awesome to see OASE having a great display especially since this year they didn't have anything at Inter Zoo Global Pet Expo or AQUASHELLA in Dallas. Speaking of that it would be awesome if you could get the time to see one of the three AQUASHELLAS and pick up where you left off and be a little bit more of a vacation and spend some time in NYC and the Niagra Falls on to the gorgeous New England and my favorite place in the world is The Lodge @ Lake Placid and Middlebury Vermont @ The Waybury Inn 🤗 Take care Kaity and great seeing what I think is the best channel for bringing people and aquariums together . 💚💙🇦🇺🇨🇦🇺🇸

Good video with lots of cool tanks. Unfortunately it looks like one of the electric blue Acara has ich. They are one of my favorite fish! Hopefully they can treat it appropriately and keep them healthy

I should have mentioned what happened with that! I believe that is the one that had jumped out, and it was a bit beaten up/dried out a bit from being on the ground, which is why it looked like that

Only for the setup! This was on the Friday before they opened the show to the public 😊 I think it was just a requirement of the convention centre

Awww, thank you! 🙏🏻 I believe that it's a bit of a mix. We are allowed to import some types of fish like African Cichlids, but there are some types we can't like certain species of Pleco and pea puffers

Wow, the pet show in Brisbane is wayyyy better than in Melbourne 😮 Dymax was here, but not with tanks set up like that, and a much smaller kiosk. They did have the coloring station though, but you couldn’t buy any of the products, which seemed pointless, as all the other stalls sold their products. I am convinced that the best Aquarium stores and shows are in Sydney and Queensland, sucks for me 🥴

Hahaha ohhh noooo!! I visited the Melbourne one in 2023, and it was great in terms of the aquascapes, there was a lot more tank setups there. But the Brisbane one had soooo much stuff for sale, but not quite as many display tanks

Hi kaity. I would like to say that I love all of your videos and contents. I have been watching for about 6 months or so. I am into African cichlids also. I have lost all of my African cichlids about 10 of them. I am hoping I want to get back into fish keeping and I want to get African cichlids again. I also would like to get Oscars. I love them. I need to find a place to live so I can get all the fish I want. I live in an apartment but need to find a place by December so I can keep fish. I think you said you like Oscars in this video. Would you get Oscars again? Thank you for your videos and I will keep watching.

I wouldnt care if he was honest about why he hasnt posted it IN A YEAR when I have subrscribed to him since he started his channel about 18 YEARS AGO!!! Him lying to his long time fans hurt! And you helped him lying!!! Dont care if you didnt dare to call him out on it since he is the nr1 aquarium youtuber, its still a lie. @@Kaityscichlids Yeah im probably the only one in the world seeing that the plywood tank that "he just finished" was actually finished when you visited him a year ago. I would have accepted it if he just said that for some reason he hadnt have time to post about his bould of that tank. But his fans has been waiting for months for him building that tank. And in this video it shows several times that the tank was built and running when you visited him A YEAR AGO! Joey has disrespected his fans, and you helped him. And wierd enough nobody else then me seems to see that
