🎸IN THIS VIDEO
In this ukulele lesson, I will show you a beautiful yet advanced chord progression played with the tremolo technique.
I wrote the music for this lesson a while back. The instrumental is called "The Moon is All I See."
In the instrumental, I played a beautiful chord progression with the tremolo technique.
The tremolo technique is a classical guitar technique in which the thumb arpeggiates the notes of a chord while the ring, middle, and index finger pluck the exact string in a sequence of three notes.
This video will teach you how to play the chord progression, a simple fingerpicking pattern, a simplified tremolo technique, and the tremolo technique.
Enjoy!
0:00 What's the tremolo technique?
1:36 Let's keep it simple!
2:13 The chord progression.
5:11 Simple fingerpicking pattern.
8:35 Simplified tremolo technique.
11:23 The tremolo technique.

You are such a good teacher. Keep it up!!!!
What a beautiful chord progression!! Thank you for introducing this beautiful and seemingly impossible technique. 🌸
I spent about a week practicing this for a few minutes a day (using your video as a guide), and now I can do this. Still perfecting it, but it works. Thanks buddy. For anyone else out there: the first time you try this it will feel impossible. And I've been playing guitar for like 15 years. Don't get discouraged if this takes a while to learn.
Long and useful, God bless you
I’ve learnt soooo much through your videos you’re an amazing teacher

It’s a touching melody.Thanks for sharing🤙
The tremolo has a galloping sound... You can still make it more even. From a classical guitarist. Peace!
Incredible technique 👏

Lovely! I’d love to see you play “recuerdos de la Alhambra” on your uke. It’s on my list but there isn’t any good tutorials on it as far as can see.

I love you guys moooore!
You are doing such an awesome work by sharing your knowledge! Many thanks! 😊👏🏻 What is the brand and model of the Ukulele that you used in this video ?
1 hour spent going from the C to the G6/B and back with just the 41312131 picking pattern. My left hand is toast. Tough on a 60 year old guy! But I am getting better at it. Next up AM, by December we will look at the tremolo part......lol

Well done Bart! It’s a challenging piece. It took me quite some practice and quite a few takes to record it.
Ciao, complimenti per il video👏🏼👏🏼Posso chiederti che ukulele usi in questo video? Grazie
Been waiting for this ever since you asked us about it on Instagram. Looking forward to playing it 😊
👍❤️🙏
Cool. 🖤 do you know about a playing style called "dotara style" on uke. Specially popular in indian/bangladesh culture?
I like how you say “chord”

so sad i dont have the nails to try it, any tips on growing proper nails for guitarists? mine alsways break or get little cracks from the sides pretty fast:(

hi, I have the same problem. I solved it by going to my local nail salon. They brush and form a layer of clear acrylic extending on top and beyond my own nail with a length that I choose for about $5/nail. I am a three nail picker only occasionally using my ring finger as needed in this great lesson. My three fake nails slowly grow out on top of my natural nails and so I have to file down the acrylic nails regularly. After about a month I go back to the salon and wait in line with the regular ladies (as the only 70 year old unashamed guy) to remove my worn down acrylic nails and put on fresh fresh. :-)

Quite a lot of guitarists use acrylic nails on their right hand. Especially for flamenco techniques…
can i pick with flesh of does it have to be nail
@MarcoCirilloUkulele

Yes, you can use your fingertip.
Great video but i wish the chords were easier
Hi..Does Low G mean the G string is tuned one octave down?
@BS38114
2 жыл бұрын
Yes. But i would say, high g is tuned one octave up.
@margaretshepherd9983
2 жыл бұрын
Yes but you must have a special Low G string to do it your normal G string will be to floppy Freemont do a single low g as do Living Water most string manufacturers make Low G sets .
Thank you, Marco, for this lovely progression and the different levels of playing it. So helpful! Could you tell me what brand of low G strings you’re using and if the G string is wound or unwound?
The hand movement reminds me of a technique I used back in the mid-90s.. as a DJ The term we used was crab scratch It's quite magical actually I like it I think I'll add it to my practice routine Thank you so much again for your knowledge
The chord shapes are more difficult than the tremolo…. Also, fingernails would really help…
How long does it take to get to this point
