Man ! He was really starting to get a bit aggressive about wanting to know 'what's it all about then?'
They truly are amazing.
He absolutely, positively, 100% says "Hymie", listen again! They were still young and rough enough to not think twice about off colour jokes.
LOOL John at 3:53 : We're male, arn't we? You know, it'd be funny if they're all fellas, ( Gay Voice) Oh get away! ( Hand swat )

If only he knew all the experimenting he'd do with Brian in the nxt few years, everyone knows, it's a, not so secret, inside secret, many ppl believe polythene pam was a song John wrote about a experience with a transwomen, which isn't surprising as it was very trendy at the time, alot of rockstars spoke out about doing it..n good for him n good for them
The girl in white spoke in jest , saying she didn't like them [Beatles] A humor rare in those days, and a girl being so coy
yes they were all irish...listen to john lennon at the beginning...
A great interview Frank Hall did a good job with the questions and let the lads be themselves. great fun
Thank you for uploading this! It's in such great quality, I've never seen this footage looking this good! :)
I want to cuddle George. He's so adorable :3
i think john lennon and paul mcartney are really cute!!!!!

This is from Nov. 7, 1963.
the singing and the hair........ and the jackets
Its good seeing the beatles all together and hearing what they have said. 4 15 2022.
OMY GAWSH! John's gay hand flip is priceless!

the date is 07/11/1963 - the only ever Beatles gig in Dublin
4:19-4:26 i love ringo's sense of humor
Haha at 3:44 when the interviewer says, "So far as I can see, the greater portion of your public seems to be female," Ringo says, "Thank you." haha
I have never heard George speak this much in ANY other group interview...EVER.
@Cozycriter Big teenage UK star of that era. She had a great voice and a great big beehive. Don't know why this one girl didn't like our boys though ! Ah, there is always one ~
I don't care if people think he looks funny, I think Ringo is so good-looking! I mean he does have a unique appearance and sometimes it is funny, but it just makes him that much more attractive lol.
Paul calling Ringo "Hymie" because of his nose. Try that today unless you are Jessie Jackson (calling NYC Hymie town)

+28if Life seemed so much freer back then. Free speech actually seemed to exist for the most part. Now a days, you'll be fired & blacklisted for the slightest "offense".

Jokes are jokes unless you’re a far left Maniac !
I love their accent
Haha at 0:38 you can hear Ringo say, "...and nearly Irish Ringo!"
This guy is completely perplexed. *"Give me an actual reason, ya feckin' eejit. I've never heard them, what the fuck is going on, please tell me, I'm way outta my comfort zone?"* _We love their hair, their songs and their leather jackets_ *"For Christ's sake, I know that, what else?"*

He was really getting angry with the kids!
6:52 At the beginning Beatles were poor, they ate Pedigree and were transported in a Pedigree truck.
Heyyy never realized how much I like George's voice =)
LOVE John's laugh at 4:24 :)
Just love the accents!

Good observation. Also none with tattoos and gender-confused shaved hairstyles.
OMG so true, people are getting obsessed with that! There's only ONE Paul McCartney and he's still alive and Well.
The Beatles were the ones who started the long hair fad. Hair kept getting longer and longer in the late 60s into the 70s and 80s.
Helen Shapiro a damn good songstress.
Ringo is so quiet lol he's so cute i just can't believe he's 72 now
i agree george, planes are wayy more fascinating then interview people. seriously, haha but i love these people to death and their so amazing! even thouhg it must have been boring for them, i glad they did them for us to watch!!! :D
Words of wisdom, never go into a crowd of fangirls and ask why they're there.
I haven't seen this for years! It's brilliant...especially the last 2 minutes where Frank Hall interviews the girls outside the Adelphi....truly hilarious :-)
this was on the documentary last night :)
what was it the reporter says at 3.14 - god bless something...makes me laugh, and shows how unusual it was for a pop group to be coming to Ireland at that time. Forget uncommon, this was unheard of, I think this was one of the first actual gigs ever in Ireland outside of show bands and Church organised stuff
Happy birthday Paul!
Macca upends the interview at 2:00, calling Ringo a "Hymie". Even John looks shocked! The interviewer knows it's got to be edited and gets totally flustered.
What on earth was George so distracted by

He said it in the interview: his mother and some friends were on the tarmac at their arrival. So it makes sense that he tries to see if they were near their spot or not.

The scilence that appears when Paul McCartney says "hymie" in public :)
omg I LOVE 3:35.... it's like they made it up before hahahah love it!
LOL, those were the days when the fans were still behaving decently... it was all down (up??) hill from there!
Lol, them taking the Mick out of Ringo, as always, and him sitting there and letting them. As always.
If she's still alive, possibly. Then again, possibly not. Remember, this was nearly 50 years ago.
Thanks for post this video :) But where's part 2?
Frank Hall of RTE television is seen channeling Eric Idle from the future.
John Lennon 🥰
Liverpool is the capital of Ireland after all.
It's fascinating to watch this considering they hadn't really begun, yet it would all be over in just 6 years. Hell, in the last 6 years I haven't done jack squat.
@njriley55 All the more Ironic in that the Interviewer ( Frank Hall ) hated pop music and wasn't to fond of the Beatles either describing them later as '' a bunch of pups '' lol and you can hear his condensending tone when he interviews the teen girls, which makes you wonder why Irish Tv sent him of all people to interview them ....LOL
3:35 a preview of the White Album sessions
Tell me about your "oirish" backgrounds! :D I cracked up @3:32!!! Hahaha awsome!!!! I bet they did that a few times, it came as if on cue!!!
"Why do you like them girls?" "the tight trousers".
@BeatleBangs1964 and John also had welsh ancestry (his mum´s family)
glad im not the only one
I would have died if I was there
Oh, that's what he keeps turning around and looking around at. LOL.
4:02 Paul tries not to burst out laughing at John’s gay joke in front of the camera. Then George messes with him. So cute!
"I designed it." Oh, Ringo. xD
She probly doesn't like them because everyone expects her to like them.... she probly secretly does
Джорджа что-то беспокоит)).
why was the intevewer holding his head at 2:07? was he holdin his hair down? lol
3:15 Hilarious.
3:33 :D hahaha Oh god i love The Beatles
"...What time did you take up your position today...?"
No sound?
Interviewer reminds me of Uncle Bryn
Paul referred to Ringo as, 'Heimie'?
