Spent a good couple weeks looking for a damn shiny Lickitung in Legends Arceus with boosted odds because of outbreaks (about one in four hundred?), but it for whatever reason refused to show up Finally found the little sucker the other day, and I cherish him by throwing him in the pasture with my other shinies in my collection :)

My brother found a shiny Chikorita and he called it Autumn. He found it in 2016 and found it I about a week

I can explain the shiny clefairy at Whitney’s gym. It’s cause you’re cheating and changing the shiny rates. Solved.

When I played a fire red and emerald game that had a shiny rate of 1/100 some of the other trainers had shinies as well.

The shiny clef airy Whitney had was because you changed the shiny data. When y’a do that trainers can have shinies

I think silver's battle theme in this game is the best official remix of video game music I've ever heard

@@TaintedNimbus Okay, maybe not olive, but still very much green. EDIT: Okay, I just looked it up and it is more gold in the Gen 3 sprite, but the Gen 4 sprite is still green.

I just played through with the cute charm glitch. Encountering a shiny almost every pokemon is just an insane feeling! Absolutely would recommend trying this for anyone wanting to play again!

Fun fact: poison and burn does make pokemon easier to catch, it just isn't as effective as freeze, paralysis and sleep

for save time during shiny hunt change options in the menu to these options: TEXT SPEED=FAST BATTLE SCENE=OFF then press CONFIRM

The normal rate is 1/8192, this dude used a rom and cranked it up to 1/257, which is a 16th of what you're up against.

While hunting your starter should I be saving in between days? I’m not at the moment.

I have 2HG and one SS. Going for shiny badge quest for n all 3 games, but I made all 3 games have all 3 shiny starters. The resets were brutal and finding 3 chikorita was the worst, took FOREVER

when bayleaf evolved it wasn’t gold anymore it was lime green

Whitney might of had a shiny Clefairy because in the game of heartgold and soul silver there might be this code for Whitney where she has a random set of Pokémon unlike other trainers who have a predetermined set of Pokémon so Whitney might have just rolled the shiny clefairy in her random odds.

Nope, theoretically, if patterz was lucky enough every single trainer could have a full team of shinies, its VERY VERY unlikely, but possible, because when you change the shiny odds by messing with the code, sometimes trainer pokemon become shinyable (idk if there's a better term)

It's mostly shiny hunters that are annoyed, as not just halving the odds, but making them a 16th of the original odds kinda removes the challenge. Half the fun with shiny only is the amount of patience it requires, and the feeling you get when you accomplish such a monumental task. This here is just a step away from just giving yourself a full team of shiny pokemon at the start of the game.

I think I know why the Clefairy and Golbat was shiny it's because he boosted the shiny odds. When the shiny odds get boosted trainers Pokemon can be shiny.

​​​@@A.R_69BTW the only reason I knew that is because I watch another person shiny hunt with double odds and Silvers Golbat with shiny it's a very weird glitch but I think it's pretty cool in the anime some trainers Pokemon were shiny so yeah I think it's pretty cool I mean in the Battle Frontier some of trainers Pokemon can be shiny which is the worst way to find a shiny and thank you for replying to my comment :)
