1/35,790,848,000 is about the odds of this happening 1/8192 for the shiny at all 1/8 for female 1/25 for a specific nature ~1/21845 for pokerus and to be more specific multiply that by 3 for it being specifically tododile which would be *1/107,372,544,000* Chances and probability are weird as hell so this may not be 100% accurate but it defo puts it into perspective how rare this is

@@da_xbox360well that is calculating the odds for specifically Totodile per starter reset. They are all independent events, so nothing complicated for the calculations, just simple multiplication. My personal recommendation would be to calculate for the odds of that happening for any of the starters, so drop the 1/3, but factoring in the 1/31 for the perfect attack IV

Factoring in shiny, 31 ATK IV, perfect nature, female, AND Pokerus, this Totodile has a 8.73E-11% chance of existing. If my calculations are right, you'd have a better chance at winning the lottery than replicating this Totodile.

Damn, that Totodile is going to be one of the strongest, luckiest pokemon ever known in the history of shiny playthroughs. Good luck on your alligator girl.

@@Josh-sh6oy The totodile in the beginning is 1 in 35 billion, the heracross with a perfect nature and the preffered ability is 1 in 400 thousand. He cheated them in, the dude's using an emulator so it'd be pretty easy as well.

I agree. He swapped out a -spd nature for adamant and changed swarm to guts?! He's good enough to beat the game without cheating like that. Like if you're going to cheat why even do a nuzlocke challenge at that point? Playing pokemon normally with only getting shinies is still a good video.

I wouldn't say that. Sandshrew, Spearow and Aipom came suspiciously easy. All of them WAY under odds. So either he still had a ton of luck left or he took some more inspiration from dream.

I found a shiny while watching this guess it’s the power of Captain Kidd

For the people talking about the cheating, I typically group Poketubers into two categories: storyteller and technician. Kidd is all about the narrative, rather than showing us all the move deliberations and damage calcs. The fact that he killed the shiny Ho-Oh after hunting it puts him solidly in the category. Having the transgender Heracross makes the story more interesting, so I go with it. If pchal did something like that, I'd be seriously annoyed because he's all about the numbers. Also, the one Poketuber that I think fits across both categories is FlygonHG. He somehow manages to go into the nerdy details and still tell a good story. Totally underrated.
