Tip for this challenge if you are going to do it: If A-90 hits you while you are in a closet, he will hit you again the next time he does his thing regardless of if you input anything or not. That's a bug he currently has. He's not supposed to do that. And it doesn't have to happen when you're hiding in a closet. If he hits once at any time, you're still dead nonetheless. So, it's not because he got you once you're in a closet.

4:15 the reason why screech doesn’t spawn is because you don’t hear the que for the dark rooms so it doesn’t count as a dark room, because it gets rid of the lighting but the lights are still there so screech doesn’t think it’s a dark room. Hope that helps

Any Geometry Dash players immediately recognize the song that played at 13:05, immediately thinking of a random Extreme Demon like Cataclysm or Bloodbath or one of the few that use At The Speed Of Light by Dimrain47? Because I sure did the moment I heard the beginning of the song. Only wanted to say this because At The Speed Of Light is one of the most popular custom songs for levels in Geometry Dash, and this is one of the only few times I've heard it outside of Geometry Dash. Great job on completing this challenge, by the way. 👍 (I haven't watched until the end of the video as of the time I'm writing this comment, but I'm getting there -- I'll finish soon.)

5:18 Explanation: Since a couple rushes came before a-60, a couple doors were opened, making you closer and closer to the point where the monsters spawn. Since hearing a-60 is hard (as mentioned), you didnt hear it standing, and since it is awfully fast, the moment it started dashing through the hotel, it caught up to you in a pretty small time, before you could hear it (i know this video is months old, i still want to explain it)

You can also do Lights Out and Think Faster, with both of them, Screech still wouldn’t be able to spawn, the only to bring Screech back with Lights Out is I’m Everywhere.

For me who I'm on mobile, in Seek chase i don't need a flashlight because i can see the particles of the Guiding Light and follow them. But maybe on pc is harder? Regardless, good video.

@@jordanbui2717 Oh yes! You're correct about that. Eyes have many times saved me of Dupe and they can guide you in the Seek chase too.

Concept for a modifier: deceptive light Like guiding light but the complete opposite, it will darken the room after staying in it for too long, and just play tricks and mess with you.

Honestly, I don't think that's possible, at least not with Room For More. A-120 tracks your location and will kill you 100% of the time if you aren't hiding. And considering how often A-120 spawns in Room For More, a no-hide run is a lost cause. With just Worst Time Ever though; **maybe** it could be done. I still doubt it due to the amount of RNG needed to find safe spots at the right times.

I am an OG player of Doors and I think that the Hotel+ update is actually easier (for me at least) because Screech got massively nerfed for some reason and Halt was also nerfed when Halt literally didn’t need it. Door 100 is harder though, and then there’s the crucifix and skeleton key.

Nah I think the past is easier. If I would have knew the extra cues for screeches arrival (like the screen shaking slightly when he shows up) I would never have had trouble with him, hakt is a pushover, but door 100 is so long, and tedious, and buggy, compared to the joke it was in pre patch where you just walk forward once and then win, it’s way harder imo

⁠@@maxwellmegagamer8535 Old Screech gave you the same amount of time Screech on Think Fast gives you now, hence why in Think Fast the screen shakes a lot when Screech shows up. Think Fast also makes Screech appear the same amount of time as old Screech, Think Fast just makes Screech OG Screech. Halt also was nerfed to a 1 in 100 chance of appearing when it used to be 1 in 20, I feel like the game only gets harder in and after the greenhouse area but that could just be me.

The hotel+ update didn't only add door 100's buff, but also greenhouse, And dupe. Halts nerf was pretty pointless in my opinion cuz it was already easy, crucifix is a 1 time use and doesn't even work on seek, figure, void, or Timothy. Skeleton key also is pointless against every one shot entity.

the amount of times a-90 spawns is rng based, it could be 1 time, it could be 7 times

OPTIONAL: Remove "Lights Out" & replace it with both "Electrical Work" & "I'm Tip-Toein' Here" to add to the "Rush Hour" and "I'm Runnin' Here" modifiers to make Rush basically impossible to avoid to suffer even more.

pro tip: next time u do this challenge also include key key key key or locked and loaded, since it prevents rush from opening the doors and spawning even more entities

Now do it again but with extra modifiers: 4 Eyes, Again & Again & Again, Itchy, guaranteed Dupe, no extra time for Hide, Rush Hour, the 2 modifiers where Rush and Ambush attack faster, the modifier that makes Seek & Figure run faster, and key key key. It's completly doable istg ✨

I wanted to attempt 200% mode but I realized after 150% the boosts halve the amount they add so it’s practically 250% and the highest knob boost percentage is like 285% i believe

You can also add other hardest mods, like Rush Hour, Again & Again & Again and Afterimage. Though I'm sure even if you add maximum overdrive to this combo of mods it will just be impossible, not even talking about NO max overdrive

Also include: Last Breath (optional), Nosey, Rush Hour, Think Fast / Faster (you choose, Think Fast is what I recommend more), Bad Ventilation (optional), Back for Seconds (optional) Replace "Are Those Pancakes?!?" with "I Love Pancakes!!!".

Fun fact: screech doesnt spawn with lights out cuz doors doesnt count lights ot for a dark room cuz with bad elecrical work you hear that noise and thats a dark room :D

21:41 in this part I was unlucky enough to get a-90 while getting chased by figure. My only 2 options are to stop and let figure get close to me or kill me, or just move while a-90 is on the screen, while I just accept my fate and die.

I combo that’s literally impossible with out perfect rng in: 10% start health (I don’t remember) Less health makes you slower (injuries) Seek is unfairly fast (it can really run, I think)

do it again but with out of stuff, you really can run, two vitamins (use one of the vitamins you bought from pre-run shop, use them ONLY on seek) and ONE flashlight good luck hombre

Reason why "Lights Out" doesn't spawn screech is because you have the "I'm Everywhere" Modifier.

13:51 i first played a while before hotel+ update (i have 44 wins total from then) and previous to first joining the game on the 15th of september of 2022 i had watched some doors videos and knew generally what to do (as well as the silly little stair strat used in speedruns,,,). i dont know when i got my first win cus i hadnt been keeping track at the time but i easily got hyperfixated on the game. i at some point decided to get all of the badges. including 100 deaths. i think you can guess what i did. (insert death speedrun here) anyways i dont have too many post-hotel+ wins due to just not playing the game but hey at least i beat super hard mode during the 2023 april fools update so i have that badge. its apparently the rarest in the game now

What I would do is take my flashlight to see a check of the room and then turn it off and wander around until I get to the next room.
